A fourteen meter aft cabin cruiser ended aground near the CM Canal, near Cape May, New Jersey on the night of Tuesday fifteen July. The cabin cruiser was assisted by Sea Tow Cape May who shared the story on its Facebook page. Sea Tow ungrounded the yacht and then towed it at a marina for inspection. Reason for ground was reported to passing the wrong side of buoy marker.
The aft cabin cruiser in this accident is a Gulfstar 49 Motor Yacht as produced from 1984 to 1987. The Gulfstar 49 Motor Yacht was a replacement and evolution to the 48 Motor Yacht.
