Project: Solaris Power 40 Open

Solaris Power present the project for the 40 Open, a new entry level in its power boat range, which now spans from eleven up to eighteen meters in length.  Designed by Brunello Acampora of Victory design, and the Solaris project team, the 40 follows the theme of the larger 44 and 48 Open models, for being a center console sport cruiser with usable deck space from fore to aft.  A central T-Top covers the central console here featuring a triple seat arrangement, this is followed by galley wet-bar, a dinette, and an aft sun-pad.  The Solaris 40 Open offers an interior sleeping four with a double island berth forward, and a separate twin berth cabin at midships.  The midships cabin can be replaced for an empty room, in what the yard calls the B version.  The Solaris 40 Open is standard powered by twin petrol gas engines of 280hp, with three optional diesel units of 300hp up 440hp.  Propulsion is always for Volvo stern drive units. Speeds estimates are for 31 knots with the standard engines, and goes up to 41 knots with the large engine option.
