Classic Unattended Sea Ray Boat Sinks at Cobourg Marina Ontario

A classic nine meter Sea Ray flybridge cruiser partly sank while she was docked in Cobourg Marina, in Cobourg, province of Ontario, Canada on 06:45 morning time of Thursday sixteen June 2022.  The unattended flybridge cruiser was immediately noted by the marina staff, as the boat started to go down and then listed to its starboard side, and partly sank.  Environmental Services and Coast Guard staff attended to the sinking, who freed the area from nearby boats, and surrounded it with pollution protection booms, as the boat was reported to have spilled some oil and fuel in its sinking.  Dundee Marina was working on righting and floating the classic Sea Ray.  The Ministry of Environment and Town Environmental Services where also on the spot assessing that the appropriate measures for absorbing the fuel and oil spill were being made.  The cause of the sinking is not reported.
The classic Sea Ray in this sinking is an SRV300 Sedan Bridge as produced 1977 to 1981.  The SRV300 Sedan Bridge was replaced by the SRV310 Vanguard Sportbridge.
