Project: Solaris 60 Open

Solaris present the project for the 60 Open, a new sport yacht of over eighteen meters in length over-all.  Designed by Brunello Acampora and the Solaris inhouse design team, the 60 Open follows the footsteps of the successful smaller 44 and 48 Open models.  Based on the hull lines of the 57 Lobster, which is what started the Solaris Power range back in 2019 then named as 55, the 60 Open is a big day boat with an easy walk-around deck usable from stern to bow, but with its size offering accommodation worthy of a yacht and a cruise and offered in two lower deck layouts.  Layout A offers two large cabins with owners stateroom located at midships, while layout B is a more family friendly three cabins layout with owners room located forward.  The Solaris 60 Open is standard powered by twin Volvo 600hp or optional 725hp engines with IPS forward looking dual propeller pod drives.  Top speeds of 35 knots are predicted with the smaller engines and 38 knots from the optional larger units.
