Cheoy Lee CL Yachts Exciting 2022 Results

Cheoy Lee CL Yachts is riding high in the beginning of 2022, as the Miami International Boat Show proved to be a successful one for the builder, and gave them great momentum heading into the spring shows, most notably, the Palm Beach International Boat Show.  In Miami, CL Yachts concluded two contracts with American clients for CLB72. Debuted at 2018, CLB72 has proven to be a popular model. CL Yachts continues the refinement on CLB72 for discerning boaters in the market for a seaworthy boat with a level of onboard luxury unseen anywhere else in its class.  Panu Virtanen, vice president of sales for CL Yachts in Fort Lauderdale, had this to say about the company’s recent successes and its hopes for the future: “The Miami Show proved both the increasing strength of the yacht market and growing brand recognition of CL Yachts, with many active and qualified buyers coming to look for us at our stand. Two direct sales resulted from this show, and the future looks promising for further contracts that will result from this event, We look forward to an even more fruitful Palm Beach Show, especially with the growing excitement around the new models arriving this year.  Along with CLB72, CL Yachts is also excited about its latest efforts, including CLB65 and CLX96 (SAV), which will debut this fall. Indeed, thanks to an exceptionally strong product line and a level of craftsmanship and service that is unrivaled, all signs point to an exciting and productive 2022 for CL Yachts.

Extra-special decor: the Frauscher shipyard is henceforth offering exclusive recycled textiles from Christian Fischbacher for all models over ten metres with cabin. As always, ultimate comfort and high-quality materials remain part of the Frauscher philosophy. In the future, seating areas inside the cabin can be fitted with a special fabric: Benu® Talent FR from Swiss textile brand Christian Fischbacher. This is a novelty that not only meets the highest demands in terms of practicality but also brings sustainability on board too.  70 percent of this new fabric is made from recycled PET bottles. The durable velour is weather-resistant and colourfast, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The extremely flame-retardant fabric is available in 30 colours and, last but not least, impresses with its soft, velvety feel. For a year and a half, the workshop has been working on developing a lighter, softer material from recycled PET yarn. With success. The latest accolade: the Red Dot Award for Product Design. Stefan Frauscher, Managing Director of the Frauscher shipyard, on the new decor: "We're always on the lookout for innovation and this here is a match made in heaven. This is precisely what the new fabric combines: innovation with a sustainable experience, just like the boats from the Frauscher shipyard."  Camilla Fischbacher, Creative Director at Christian Fischbacher: "We have always believed in high-quality recycled products and continue to do so today. Gozzi Mimì reports a significant acceleration in growth and a new sales record. The brand’s innovative collection of gozzo boats designed by Valerio Rivellini - following tradition but with contemporary style - is in increasing demand not only in Italy but also in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Croatia and France.  Following its success at Nauticsud, where it signed various new contracts and aroused the interest of many visitors, Gozzi Mimì’s sales have reached a new record, both in Italy and abroad. Nordhavn 2022 Film Festival

After the enormous success of the inaugural Nordhavn Film Festival back in 2019, Pacific Asian Enterprises is pleased to announce the second installment of the Nordhavn Film Festival will be happening in October 2022. Nordhavn owners and non-owners alike are eligible to participate in the event, which aims to showcase the video talents of all who have a passion for showcasing Nordhavns on film.  “We couldn’t have been more thrilled with the level of quality and enthusiasm behind each of the videos from the first Nordhavn Film Festival,” said Nordhavn’s vice president Jim Leishman. “I suspect the creativity and effort that go into the video submissions for the next film fest will match or even surpass what we saw in 2019.”

Nordhavn Announces Partnership in Cubar 2022 Event

The legacy of Nordhavn lies within the extended cruising adventures that are the hallmark of the company’s purpose-built power yachts and their intrepid owners. It is tied to the brand’s many en masse voyages including the Great Siberian Sushi Run and perhaps most notable, the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally, an 18-boat trans-oceanic group crossing. In the spirit of this tradition, Nordhavn is pleased to announce its collaboration with the San Diego Yacht Club on the 2022 Cubar Odyssey, a multi-motoryacht cruise of the Baja Peninsula happening October 30 through November 13. Nordhavn will be the key sponsor of this year’s Cubar event, partnering with SDYC on kick-off festivities and event promotions. The Cubar Odyssey is a bi-annual power boat rally that emphasizes camaraderie, organized excursions and safety in numbers. An acronym for Cruise Underway to Baja Rally, Cubar boats follow a course from San Diego to La Paz, Mexico, with stops at some of Baja’s beloved coastal spots along the way. Originally conceived in 2007 under the name Fubar, the current iteration has been produced and hosted by SDYC since 2015. Participation in Cubar is limited to powerboats with a minimum range of 450 nm and has consistently been a big draw for Nordhavns. This year, the brand is represented by eight of 50 participating boats. “We are very excited to partner with SDYC on the 2022 CUBAR,” said Nordhavn vice-president Jim Leishman. “It has the essence of a Nordhavn event and aligns with our mission to promote safe, enjoyable cruising. It’s the perfect vehicle for anyone looking to baby-step their way into grand adventure.” Leishman knows from experience, having personally participated in the original Fubar back in 2007 aboard a client’s Nordhavn 55. There are three warmup events happening throughout the year, culminating with a kick-off dinner at Nordhavn headquarters in Dana Point two weeks prior to departure.

Pearl Healthy Order Book

Pearl has established a reputation as the Atelier of Yachting, offering clients an exclusive experience and personal attention. The shipyard’s commitment has been tested by growing demand in the market boom. As of now, 20 units of the new Pearl 62 have been sold along with six units of the new Pearl 72 ahead of its launch, scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.  On the topic, Managing Director Iain Smallridge remarked, “Last year wasn’t without its challenges. One might think Pearl is just riding the wave of renewed interest in yachting, but it’s really been a balancing act. We wanted to take maximum advantage of the momentum, without letting that wave wash away what makes our brand unique. That’s why we’ve channeled the success of this year to improve all aspects of our business. Expanding the network and bringing in new talent is paramount, especially as we prepare to launch several new models over the next three years. As with the Pearl 62 and the 72, each design is going to bring something new to the market. We can barely wait to share them with our clients, stakeholders and friends.”

Pearl Opens Office in Swanwick

Ongoing talks around the world mean that fans of the brand in presently unserved regions likely don’t have long to wait.

Riviera R Marine Perth New Chapter

R Marine Perth is commencing a new era with the recent appointment of Ryan Lloyd as dealer principal of Western Australia’s exclusive representative for Australia’s premium luxury motor yacht builder Riviera.  Mr Lloyd, who joined Riviera after a highly experienced career as general manager of The Haines Group, brings a fresh energy to R Marine Perth enhancing owner care and boating enjoyment of Riviera owners. Mr Lloyd is personally invested in R Marine Perth with a clear vision for the future of the dealership.  Mr Lloyd and the R Marine Perth team hosted the first event of 2022 for the dealership, a raft-up on the Swan River with the city skyline as the backdrop.  The raft-up at Matilda Bay comprised 33 motor yachts ranging from classic Rivieras to the latest models up to 60-foot, as owners took advantage of a fabulous summer’s day. It was the first on-water event hosted by R Marine Perth in almost two years.  The R Marine Perth event was enjoyed by 400 Riviera owners, their families and friends, some of whom were on their first ever raft-up experience.  Attending her first Riviera event on her 6000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, Argyle, was Paula Harry who appreciated the raft-up being held on a Friday while the children were at school. Paula and her husband Adam often spend weekends with their children on their yacht on the Swan River or offshore at Rottnest Island.  A musical trio and a roving saxophonist added to the day’s celebrations, while one motor yacht provided a slippery dip for all to enjoy.  Aaron McNally, owner of Riviera 51 Flybridge, Longshot, enjoyed being on the water again with the Riviera family.  It was such a great day that Aaron didn’t leave until 11pm that night, well after the last of the motor yachts headed home.  New Riviera owner Aidan Jenkins, aboard his 4800 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, Ocean’s 8, spent the afternoon entertaining four couples aboard.  Aidan describes his 4800 Sport Yacht as perfect for his family’s style of boating in Perth.  Stephen Marley’s 5400 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, Nangeenan, is his third Riviera motor yacht and the raft-up is one event he says owners look forward to each year.  The R Marine Perth team is looking forward to hosting future events for motor yacht owners, taking advantage of prime boating conditions in Perth throughout the year.  Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst congratulated the R Marine Perth team for a magnificent raft-up.

The success of a brand is evident when it goes beyond its own boundaries, creating a real style. This is confirmed by the birth of the new exclusive Sirena Yachts Official Store.  The Turkish shipyard has created a collection for yachting passionates, which ranges from the ideal technical clothing for sailing to the casual outfit perfect for strolling on the quay. The collection is the work of a young designer, Senem Kula, who has also thought of a line dedicated to the little ones. But the Sirena Yachts store is also full of accessories, all linked to the theme of travel and life in the open air… without forgetting man's best friend! Viking Lightning Protection

The Viking subsidiary Atlantic Marine Electronics (AME) has become the exclusive marine distributor in the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica of a comprehensive system that helps protect boats against the devastating effects of lightning strikes. “As ship systems become more sophisticated and interconnected, lightning strikes are having a greater impact,” said AME General Manager Todd Tally. “We believe we have found a system that will be a game-changer in our industry.”  AME has partnered with Dinnteco International – a family business based in Spain with more than two decades of experience in lightning protection  to offer its DDCE (Electromagnetic Charge Compensation Device) lightning protection technology. AME made the announcement at the Palm Beach International Boat Show last week.  Dinnteco DDCE innovative lightning suppressor protects structures from lightning strikes by slowly and continuously neutralizing electric charges. “The device is constantly collecting the ions from the atmosphere and bringing them to ground while avoiding the creation of an ‘upward leader,’ which would result in a lightning strike,” said Todd.  For sportfish yacht applications, the DDCE will be mounted on a custom carbon fiber pole on top of the tuna tower.  A second lightning suppressor called the Dineol will be necessary on yachts with outriggers. Both the DDCE and the Dineol guard against direct lightning strikes. A third element, a Dinfil, protects the boat against indirect strikes. “Most of your larger yachts will have two Dinfils, which will be connected to the grounding system of the boat,” said Tally.  AME spent over a year researching the topic of lightning protection and has the utmost confidence in the Dinnteco technology. The next Viking demonstrator boat, an 80 Convertible, will be outfitted with the system. In addition, owners of a 68 and a 72 on the Viking production line have requested the DDCE package for their vessels due to lightning incidents with their previous boats.  AME will be installing the system on new Vikings in its role as master dealer, but “we’re also interested in facilitating relationships with other companies so they can become dealers,” said Todd. “For instance, we have already partnered with ComMar Sales, LLC marine manufacturers’ representatives.”

Viking Veteran Retired

After a 26-year stint, Keith Cranmer retired from the Viking Yacht Company as Warehouse Foreman. “Keith is the hardest worker I know,” said Pat Klevinsky, Warehouse Department Manager. “Thank you for all you've done for Viking. We admire your dedication and energy to this department and everything you do.” After Keith purges all the part numbers from his head, he's looking forward to spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren.

Improve-it = Cheoy Lee CLB88

Cheoy Lee presents an improved CLB88, the 27 meter super yacht flagship of the B seriies and designed by world-renowned Milan-based Jozeph Forakis. The CLB88 has already won a Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. What’s more, it was also a finalist for Boat International’s Design and Innovation Awards in 2021. A deeper colour scheme characterises the first interior package. The palette, which features teak and walnut, gives the interior a real sense of gravitas and masculinity. However, Cheoy Lee realised that some may prefer a lighter touch and Forakis envisioned a second palette made up of soft greys and fair oaks. Such a palette plays well with the natural light welcomed on board through CLB88’s expansive windows. The overall effect is an inviting, bright and modern feeling, like the faint recall of a summer beach holiday. Forakis is also excited about other new developments on the super yacht. Think integrated carpeting in the after section of the salon and an abundant use of Corian. Fenix, a new matte laminate that utilises high tech nanotechnology, will also feature.

New Model: Tecnomar For Lamborghini 63

Announced as a project in 2020 the Tecnomar For Lamborghini 63 is a fast sport yacht of twenty meters designed by the Sant' Agatha famed auto manufacturer for the exterior and Brunello Acampora for the hull, which touched the water in Summer of 2021 to much acclaim. It is not the first time though Lamborghini looked to boating as in 1983 in order to make a name in selling engines for racing powerboats in the Class One category it opened its marine division, which launched an eleven meter aluminium prototype designed by Aldo Cichero and build by Baglietto.  This prototype raced and competed in Class One, powered by twin 720hp Lambo engines and had top speeds up to eighty knots, and was then made into a production unit in 1984 build of Kevlar and Carbon Fibre by Axxes Quetzal and powered by twin 550hp or 720hp Lamborghini engines.  Including the aluminium prototype only two units are reported to have been made, with the fiberglass version being powered by smaller twin 550hp Lamborghini engines which gave her a 65 knots top speed. But the marine division remained open till 2008 selling engines mostly to Class One competing powerboats.  For those into history there was also the custom one off Riva Aquarama Lamborghini build for Ferrucio himself which launched in 1969, modified and extended in engine space to fit the twin 400hp Lamborghini engines.  The Tecnomar For Lamborghini 63 wants to be more of a production unit, with a limited run of 63 units, not little in these sizes even for a good selling commercial brand with price sensitivity in mind.  The Lamborghini 63 is offered in three lower deck versions; open lounge, single cabin, or two cabins, and is powered by twin Man 2000hp with fixed surface drives which make her reach a top speed up to sixty knots and a cruise of forty, while an economic thirty knots will make you consume only ten litres per nautical mile.

New Launch: Feadship 54.90m Hull. 708

A striking mast and the yacht’s very own submarine: these were just two of the specific requests by an owner who has enormous experience of discovering the world by sea. Like every genuinely custom superyacht, the design for m/y Shinkai, Feadship's hull number 708  revolved around these specific choices of the client. In this case the key was how best to incorporate a 7.2-tonne submarine on the aft deck along with the giant crane required for launching and collection. Taking this as the starting point, designer Philippe Briand and the teams at Vitruvius and Feadship have developed a 54 metre explorer yacht which will be able to travel the world while remaining both self-sufficient and fuel-efficient.

New Model: Benetti Oasis 40M

Beanetti presents the Oasis 40M, a revolutionary forty metre 385 Gross Ton super yacht build of fibreglass. Addressing a modern clientele with a dynamic and casual lifestyle, the Oasis 40M has the look of an adventurous yacht but at the same time it shows an unexpectedly glamorous side that reveals the idea of well-being and total independence from the rest of the world. RWD’s UK designers, who worked on the project with Benetti, created a beach area that’s never been seen before in the category, with a one-of-a-kind pool for yachts this size, appropriately called the Infinity Pool. Just a few steps from the sea, it is set in a big space clad entirely in teak, with side wings that open out to extend the floor space, turning the beach area into a huge lounge and terrace overlooking the water and designed to experience the life at sea in a completely new way. No longer an area that makes use of what space is available, as is the case on traditional yachts sold on the market, but an area designed precisely to experience the sea at any time and as intimately as possible, unimpeded by the tender and water toys hidden away in the side and forward garages, and so always perfectly ready for use. Another bonus in design, construction and engineering of Oasis 40M is the wheelhouse that represents one of the most important innovations. Designed as a multifunctional space, it’s not just a helm station but a new area where Captain, Owner and guest can enjoy the cruise and decide the course for a new point of view. Thanks to a futuristically designed steering position with a panoramic view, the space can accommodate six people all seated. This space also features full-height windows and huge spaces, making a comfortable area for guests. The exterior lines designed by the famous UK firm RWD are a perfect synthesis of Italian elegance and classic British lines, thanks to which guests can enjoy an unprecedented atmosphere of freedom and intense intimacy with the sea. The interiors offer relaxed and informal comfort, designed by the New York firm Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, whose elegant and minimalist projects include Ian Schrager’s boutique hotel, Donna Karan showrooms and the Pace Gallery in New York. The main and upper deck have large windows enabling natural light to be used as a design element. This characteristic and the unconventional layout of the spacious interiors are intended to underscore a desire for symbiosis with nature. The three external decks are designed to guarantee a strong sense of continuity between exterior and interior spaces thanks to the prevalent use of pale materials and colours. Oasis 40M has four decks with five cabins for ten guests and four cabins for seven crew members included the comfy captain’s cabin located on the upper Deck close to the wheelhouse. Equipped with two Man 1400hp, Oasis 40M is a yacht for owners who are not in a rush and want to enjoy the cruise. Featuring an excellent hull efficiency supplemented by a vertical bow, the yacht’s top speed is eighteen knots, and at eleven knots it consumes just over one hundred litres per hour, with a range greater than the necessary to cross the Atlantic.

Grand Banks New Web Site

Grand Banks unveils a new World wide web virtual showroom site. Grand Banks started operation in 1956 as American Marine Limited founded by Robert J. Newton and sons John and Whit in Honk Kong. But the start was not about a trawler yacht, as its first jobs it built custom Sparkman and Stephens, William Gardner, Nat Herreshoff, and Ray Hunt designed sailing yachts. In 1962 the Newton's commissioned Kenneth Smith a 36 feet humble cruising boat with work-boat like looks, which will be named Spray. This 36 Classic was a turn around for the Newton's and with it came a change from building custom sailing yachts to this traditional looking explorer cruiser.  Launched in 1964 the 36 Classic was produced till 2004 and was followed in the same year by a smaller 32 Sedan, with this series taking the name of Heritage and totalling 22 models in a production run which lasted till 2016 and included a one off 80 model launched in 1975. In 1973 Grand Banks starts switching all its models to fiberglass construction. 1993 marks an important move to Grand Banks launching the Eastbay series designed by previous collaborator Ray Hunt, and inspired to the Down East lobster boats. The Eastbay started with the 38 EX and up till today it has totalled sixteen models, including the current 44 launched in 2016 and upcoming 60 model. In 2001 the Aleutian larger yacht series was introduced with the 64, and in fourteen years it featured seven different models from the 2010 two year produced 53 to the 76 RP produced 2010 till 2012. In 2014 Grand Banks started a new path when it bought out Palm Beach motor yachts and CEO Mark Richards took over the helm.  After Mark Richards took over he changed the traditional GB explorer line, and reinvented it with V-warp hull shape, and redefined exterior looks, starting all this with the GB60 launched in 2017.  Currently Grand Banks produces five models in two range Eastbay and and the reinvented explorer GB line. The Grand Banks line starts with the EB44, and goes up to the recently launched largest GB ever made the GB85, while its newest model is the still in project Eastbay 60 announced in 2022.  Grand Banks new web site takes you around with the following buttons; About Us, Models, Advantage, Purchase, and Connect. Project: Filippetti Navetta 28

Filipetti present the project for a Navetta 28, a displacement super yacht whose interiors and exteriors merge in a perfect balance of style and maximum use of space. Designed by Fulvio De Simoni, Navetta 28, the exterior style sharpens the contrast between soft, curvy lines and huge glazed surfaces that endow this with unique strength and character. The Navetta 28 stands out for her incredibly airy interiors and exteriors. The Filippetti Navetti 28 features a fully-custom layout allowing the owner maximum freedom of choice. Outdoor areas can be enjoyed at best both when cruising and at anchor. A large flybridge devised as an open-air living space, and a huge bow area on the main deck offers guests great spaciousness and unmatched liveability, maximizing onboard volumes being always a key objective. Wide glazed surfaces characterize this yacht, ensuring incomparably close contact with the surrounding landscape and offering guests amazing views. Always looking to allow for maximum customization of both interiors and exteriors, the owner will be able to choose between five or six cabins and decide whether to have the master stateroom on the upper deck or on the main deck, both offering a privileged position to enjoy fantastic panoramic views while cruising The Filippetti Navetta 28 is powered by twino 800hp engines which will push the yacht to a maximum speed of fourteen knots and a cruise of thirteen. Increased onboard comfort is ensured by the stabilizing fins. Navetta 28’s most impressive feature, as is the case on all other models in the N range is her outstanding range of 3,000 nautical miles.

New Model: Princess X80

In the end of 2021 Princess launched hull number one of its new X80, second X-range model which follows the 2019 launched X95, which some say its one of the ugliest yachts ever made and others saying it is an innovative design with purpose.  The new Princess X80 with Dusseldorf boat show cancelled was presented in a private boat show in Plymouth on end January 2022.  The X range like new latest Princesses is designed by Pininfarina with Olesinski taking care of engineering duties, and its purpose is to move away from traditional yacht design and maximize space.  Upwards of the main deck the recipe is different with Princess saying the X80 gives 30% more flybridge space, while lower deck and hull shape are standard, with a planning hull giving speeds up to 31 knots with twin 1900hp Man engines.  The Princess X80 comes with a couple of interesting choices; the first is to have an owners stateroom on the forward part of the main deck in replacement to a forward dinning area, the second is to have a fully enclosed or three part hard top option on the flybridge deck.

Stolen Azimut Yacht Havoc in Newport

A stolen eighteen meter Azimut motor yacht created havoc and extensive damage to about half a dozen of boats in Newport Beach Harbour to the South of Los Angeles, on ten o'clock local time the morning of Thursday tenth March. This was a lucky accident with a lady who was relaxing on a fourteen meter sailing yacht coming out only slightly injured.  Considering that the eighteen meter motor yacht literally went atop the sail yacht, destroying its mast in the process this was lucky indeed.  There was also a centre console who took a full hit and damage, while a recently purchased classic wood Tollycraft also sustained damage before the Azimut crashed into a seawall and finally stopped.  Police arrested the thief who now is accused of boat theft and stolen possession, and forty minutes before was reported doing vandalism on the Pacific Coast highway.  News reports have said this Azimut motor yacht was purchased new in August 2021, and was having some work on the marina, when the thief literally went aboard and started his senseless joyride.
The Azimut in this damage is the 60 Flybridge model released in 2017 to a design of Stefano Righini and offering a three double cabins three heads layout. The Azimut 60 Flybridge is powered by twin Volvo 900hp engines which allow her to reach speeds up to 31 knots.  The Azimut 60 Flybridge is still in production as at 2022.  The damaged Tollycraft, last boat to be hit by this crazy stolen ride is a Custom 37 build in 1960 of wood.

Project: Absolute Navetta 75

Absolute present the project for a new Navetta 75 project, what represents the largest build to date by the Italian boat builder and a replacement to the current Navetta 73 flagship.  Absolute is calling this new project the Absolute Sphere a design set to expand the Navetta range. Absolute chose the sphere, a symbol of perfection and harmony, to describe an explorer yacht that embodies all the essential values and distinctive features that a new project should have.  The Navetta 75 incorporates the shipyard’s most unique features and style, the strengths that set it apart from competitors: in line with the new Fly range concept, the Navetta 75 project brings on board a terrace cockpit and the owner’s cabin at the bow. The new flagship includes also large windows, high ceilings and spaces designed on a single level, both on the main deck and on the lower deck. Navetta 75 comes with two other Absolute style highlights: easy movement on board and ultimate privacy for the owners, their guests and crew. Indeed, from the main deck you can easily access the flybridge both from the aft and from the bow, thanks to two separate stairs. A dedicated crew area can be easily accessed from the cockpit, without interrupting the owners and their guests.  With Navetta 75, Absolute proves once again that research can be used to elevate design and meet needs onboard, from sliding doors to generous storage compartments. Absolute provides impressive solutions once again by offering beautifully designed external and internal areas for good times with friends and family and for absolute versatility in the flybridge and cockpit areas, with modular furnishings with no fixed structural elements.  No power details are announced but imagine a pair of Absolute 1000hp with IPS pod propulsion as the Navetta 73 the 75 replaces.

Cranchi has launched its second in size model with the Sessantasette 67 flybridge motor yacht. Designed as the new 2021 launched 78 flagship by Christian Grande the Sessantasette is a flybridge motor yacht that according to Cranchi gives more than its length suggests. Offering Made in Italy design and style, technical solutions and a modern line, the 67 follows the family feeling Cranchi launched with the Settantotto flagship model. With the knowledge of the Cranchi Settantotto, the new Sessantasette also derives its extraordinary technological equipment with the adoption of hi-tech materials as well as a construction technique that has no equal in the world. The yacht will thus offer the highest safety standards and the best solutions for stabilisation, containment of consumption and emissions, noise reduction and home automation and entertainment systems.  The Cranchi Sessantasette offers two lower deck layout choices for a three or four cabins versions.  While a crew cabin with two berths is located aft to port side.  The main deck will offer a galley forward layout, with a central helm station and direct side door access. Three large Vip and extremely comfortable owner suite to starboard side are flooded by natural light from large windows. Two twin cabins are located on the lower deck. An intimate salon on the main deck and a large panoramic sky lounge on the upper deck with dining area have been designed and decorated for indoor relaxation and entertainment. A particularly large cockpit features dining and lounging areas, a swimming pool and lots of space to relax. A large and partially shaded sun deck perfectly integrated into the profile provides the social hub for the guests with an al fresco dining, bar, vast sunbathing area alongside a second swimming pool. A dumbwaiter connects the galley located on the lower deck to all deck, sun deck included, to convey food and drinks and ease the work of crew. Cantiere delle Marche 43m Custom interior design by Mexican architect Simon Hamui is luxurious and relaxed at the same time. It means that it offers the possibility to feel at ease with both beach clothing or formally dressed for a dinner. 43m Custom has a full displacement naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo Hydro Tec offering large volumes in a 440GT and the smoothest of travel even in rough seas ensuring excellent comfort and total safety. Engineering has been developed by the yard technical department in collaboration with Hydro Tec. Needless to add that she, like all explorer yachts built by Cantiere delle Marche, features a thick and robust steel hull and light aluminium superstructure. With a total length of 43 metres and thanks to a hull geometry her twin Caterpillar 1014hp engines will give a range of above five thousand nautical at ten knots and a top speed of forteen knots. The yacht’s engine room,, as all engine rooms built by CDM, is a showpiece that stands out for its cleanliness and functionality with all the yacht’s systems and machineries set up to accommodate easy maintenance. CDM is a pure breed explorer therefore she needs a high level of independence. The engine room is one of the sources of that independence as its redundant equipment allow to sail far and wide and to reach remote areas of the globe where it is impossible to access any sort of assistance. An expansive lazarette provides a very large storage area needed for many cruising necessities, water toys, diving equipment, etc. The main tender is stored on the upper deck forward. Crew quarters and service areas are functional and well-appointed, as requested by the owner. Five cabins are on the lower deck alongside a roomy crew mess opposite a professional galley and the captain has his own cabin on the Upper deck next to the wheelhouse.
