Tuccoli New Web Site

Tuccoli presents its new World wide web showroom.  Tuccoli was started in 1960 by Livorno native Ivano Tuccoli.  Ivano becomes a shipwright carpenter in 1956, and four years after this sets his own shop building at first wooden rowing boats, and then expanding to the Ligurian Gozzo fishing boats.  In 1970 Ivano's son Marco joins the father in the shop, while in 1974 the Tuccoli's expand to a new production area of 200 squared meters.  In 1984 Tuccoli starts building in fiberglass, with this move taking us to the nineties and noughties period of success as the Livorno builder launches the models which made its story, from the T300 in 1997 to the still in production T280 in 2001, and the T410 in 2005. Tuccoli closes its door in 2010 following the aftermath of the 2008 Great Recession, with the company re-opening in 2017, as one proud Tuccoli owner for fifteen years Paolo Sanguettola restarts production in that year.  Sanguettola starts a new plan and enlist Oris Martino D'Ubaldo as designer, who starts by redesigning the previous projects as designed by Eros Bollani.  In 2019 Tuccoli starts a Professional Division and in 2022 it purchases Lion Yachts, and in 2024 the mould making Navalstampi.  Today Tuccoli offers ten models in three ranges from the six meter T210 VN to the thirteen meter T440 SF Elba.  Tuccoli new website is available in Italian and English language and takes you around with the following buttons; Home, Company, Range, 3D Configurator, Tuccoli Guarantees, Boat Garage, Sales Network, News, Tuccoli Technology, Video, and Contacts.  Tuccoli is also on social media with a button at the left bottom of the page taking you to its Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube pages.

New Launch: Feadship 59.50m Hull.713

Feadship has delivered the elegant blue-grey hull and white superstructure 59.50-metre hull.713 titled m/y B. The newly launched 59 meter Feadship represents another stop towards its goal of being climate neutral by 2030 following other previous Feadships launches like hull 710 and 821. This 59 meter Feadship is a prime example of meeting the long-term environmental and social sustainability expectations of Feadship’s diverse stakeholders. Feadship Hull.713 has a beautifully balanced exterior profile designed by Studio De Voogt, with a contemporary interior designed by Sinot. The yacht is the first Feadship to carry solar cells for auxiliary power generation, and is fitted with diesel-electric propulsion and the ability to run on non-fossil HVO, like all other Feadships. The hull form is optimised for cruising speed instead of top speed. The solar panels are designed for optimal performance and durability. The panels utilize the most efficient silicon cells available, and are custom-made in the Netherlands. These panels contribute significantly to the yacht's energy efficiency, producing up to 24 MWh annually. Feadship Hull. 713 is fitted with a high-efficiency, diesel-electric power propulsion system, which supplies energy also to the hotel load, these by four generators and a 400 kWh battery. Feadship Hull.713 is also the first new-build from the Dutch builder to feature FSC-certified plantation teak for all the decking, which means the wood is harvested in a sustainable way.  Feadship Hull.713 has undergone a Yacht Environmental Transparency Index  Assessment report, and has scored a best in fleet at 35% below average impact, with the various efficiency enhancing features more than compensating the losses incurred by the electrical conversions on board. Projects: AB Yachts 95, AB Yachts 95 S

During the Fort Lauderdale boat show AB Yachts presented the projects for two new upcoming 95 and a 95 S, both based on the same hull but offering a different super structure. This standard AB Yachts 95 brings the innovations as introduced with the AB110 which debuted at the 2024 Cannes boat show, integrating and evolving the technical and technological features developed by the 1992 founded brand; reliability, engineering solutions, jet propulsion system leadership, and construction materials with the new design concept by architect Marco Casamonti of Archea Associati. The standard AB95 follows in the wake of the just debuted 110 larger sister in both style and arrangement, offering generous convivial areas with the distinctive sporty technology of AB Yachts. The 96 remains a super sport yacht characterised by incredible noiselessness and the absence of any vibrations, but can now offer even more onboard liveability, comfort, and unparalleled wellbeing. The exteriors and interiors are luxurious, airy, and extremely welcoming. Another difference in the AB Yacht 95 to the S model is the sport bridge, where reverse glazing along the yacht's profile increases further space and comfort for this open air and sun lovers area which give an outlook over the sea, accessible from the aft deck via two carbon-fibre external staircases.

The other AB Yachts 95 S is created for owners who are always pursuing the thrill of pure adrenaline and the unforgettable exhilaration of speeding on the water safely and stylishly. With her sinuous and sporty lines, the convertible roof top integrated in her streamlined profile, a cutting-edge propulsion system ensuring impressive performances in terms of speed, manoeuvring, efficiency and comfort, and ingenious functional solutions, this model can be truly be defined as a racing yacht, taking the pleasure of yachting to the next level. Both models, it goes without saying, share a number of elements that are deeply rooted in the brand such as ease of manoeuvre, particularly efficiency at high cruising speeds, the absence of any vibrations, and maximum safety at all times. Not to mention the smooth, free-flowing design consistency between exteriors and interiors and their unmatched loft-like comfort and style, perfect to spend time together or race on the sea without even noticing how fast the yacht is really going. All living spaces can be tailored to the Owners wishes, allowing him to create a yacht that will reflect their own personal onboard lifestyle and their unique way of finding the closest possible contact with the sea and nature, going beyond any stereotypes and setting creativity free.  The AB Yachts 95 and 95S offer a four suite layout sleeping eight or ten if you option two pullman berths are ordered in two guests cabin, or a three stateroom sleeping six in a lower deck galley version.  Crew accommodation is for four in two cabins forward.  Both the AB Yachts 95 and 95 S are powered by triple Man 2000hp with MJP jet propulsion, with the central acting as a booster.  Top speeds are estimated up to fifty knots.

One Man Rescued from Burning Boat in Elliot Bay Near Seattle

One man was rescued as a twelve meter explorer type cruiser went ablaze to the vicinity of Duwamish Head Light in Elliot Bay, West Seattle, Washington on 12:00 of Sunday ninth December.  The man was rescued by a nearby boat, as two US Coast Guards rescue crews came to the scene to fight the fire, and where followed by the Seattle Fire boat 3.   The fire was extinguished in about thirty minutes as ultimately the boat was wrecked with the blaze, with its remaining shell towed to Fourmile Rock.  Unfortunately though the boat sank before arriving in that desired spot and was surrounded by a protection boon, in order to avoid pollution from its one thousand litres of diesel fuel.  The man had no injuries and also refused a medical check up.  The cause of the fire is under investigation, with a plan to remove the diesel fuel and salvage the wreck being organized.
The explorer type cruiser in this fire looks to be a Marine Trader 40 Europa as produced from 1978 to 1986.

Inside the lower and main deck are near identical in layout to the outgoing S66, with some soft changes like the L-shaped dinette now curved and the entertainment unit which features a different shape.  For the exterior the differences come on the fore deck which now features two sun-pads with a central corridor forward of the C-shaped settee, and the flybridge which now has a bigger dinette located to starboard with a wet-bar located aft of the bridge.  The Princess S65 is powered by twin Man 1400hp for top speed up to 36 knots.
