New Model: Hatteras 100 Raised Pilothouse

A super Hatteras of eighty feet plus, is always something special as this company has in the eighties dominated the high part of the market back in the days.  Come luxury tax in the nineties and Hatteras has in latest years not build much super yachts over one hundred feet.  The Hatteras 100 Raised Pilothouse is a return from the World famous Carolina boat builder in building a one hundred foot super yacht.  As recent Hatteras in the Motor Yachts range the 100 Raised Pilothouse features an inspired European looking super structure, thanks to a collaboration with Italian designer Enrico Gobbi from Team for Design, though fair to say the hull still looks US with its flared bow, and reverse shear line in the middle.  From the order book the 100 Raised Pilothouse offers some interesting options to the buyer from a master stateroom to fore deck or amidships, or optional tender garage to aft.  In total the new Hatteras flagship offers a total of seven layouts; two for the flybridge, three for the main deck, and two for below cabin area arrangements.  Power is twin Cat 1900 as standard, or optional 2600hp MTU.

New Model: Galeon 445 HTS

Galeon continues to renew and presenting new models which follows what the Polish builder likes to call its third generation line.  The 445 HTS is Galeon's latest third generation addition what is hard top sport cruiser with a patio door dividing the main deck from the exterior sun bathing areas aft, to the more relaxed lounging sofas inside.  With this new model Tony Castro followed design stints as outside as shown first with the 325, and later on with the 385 models.  Inside Galeon and the British designer present a two large double cabins lower deck with a full beam owners amidships suite, VIP cabin to fore, and an L-shaped galley with opposite dining C-shaped saloon in between the two rooms.  The main deck offers a C-shaped settee to portside, with a helmsman to starboard followed by an entertainment cabinet. Outside is a sun pad under which is a tender garage, and an L-shaped settee.  Different options should be available to the interior, as I know for example that a three cabin plan is on the works.  Engines are twin options starting from 400 up to 558hp engines with pod drives or stern drive propulsion.

Project: Carver C40

New for the fall of 2013, is the Carver C40 a smart flybridge cruiser which rightly so follows on the footsteps of the C34 in the looks department.  Offering a two double cabins layout below, the C40 as shown previously with its small C34 sister manages to create a nice mix of modern lines, with a classic vibe to them, making it one of the looking Carver's in some time.  Some interesting details are the flash fore deck, built in stairway from the aft deck to the flybridge, fully opening patio door creating a nice one level area between outside and inside, and a living located on the main deck with below fully dedicated to the twin cabins.  An option also exist to have a lower helm station, this making boating viable all year round or when it is raining.  Interesting the lower helm option does not eat any space from the C-shape dinette from the standard layout so it is definitely a bonus to have. Power is standard twin 306 or optional 380hp Cummins engines with V-drive line shaft propulsion.

New Model: Austin Parker 64 Fly

Born as a 62 Fly project, the Austin Parker 64 completes the range in the upper sizes of this Italian builder.  Second in size only to the Austin Parker 72, the new 64 Fly continues the elaboration of the line as a modern lobster boat, as seen by renowned Italian architect Fulvio de Simoni.  Unlike the smaller models the large Austin Parkers look as much a motor yacht as they do traditional down East lobster boat and this theme is continued in the 64 Fly.  So if you think that some motor yacht have become to modern a tip is to have a look at the large Austin Parkers.  Accommodation the 64 Fly offers three large double cabins, with an owners stateroom located amidships.  The VIP suite located to fore is also very spacious thanks to the angled berth resting on the port sides. A third double cabin and a day head are located in between the two cabins.  A crew cabin with a single berth, shower head, and a desk space is located to amidships in between the owners cabins and the engine room. A split level saloon features a lounging sofa on entrance, and a dining and galley located on the fore part behind the helm station to starboard.  Power is twin MAN 1200hp engines with a top speed of 32 knots.

Cranchi showcases the project of the 27 Endurance, a stern drive sports boat sports with overnight accommodation for four persons below. As all Cranchi Endurance models the 27 is boat which is made to enjoy life in the open, yet without forgetting over night accommodation for persons in two different areas.  The 27 Endurance also has a unique detail coming from the aft sun pad which ends close to the tip of the bathing platform, using main deck space to the maximum. This results in the 27 Endurance have a large cockpit sundeck, which features a comfortable L-shaped sofa, teak table, wet bar cabinet with central wet bar small galley housed under the driver's double helm seat double.  Below accommodation offers two double berths one located to fore in a Vee berth configuration, and double amidships, with a shower head in between.  Not bad considering all the space one has outside in a sports boat cruiser measuring around eight meters!

New Model: Portofino 57 Fly

A flagship is always an important launch from a builder, and Italian Portofino extends its size by ten feet by presenting its new 57 Fly.  With the 57 Fly, Portofino ignores most of the latest fashion trends in flybridge yachts of this size and follows the themes which have been the signature of its success; a smart modern motor yacht with plenty of traditional accents which echo a timeless line.  But the 57 Fly does not stop its tradition on the outside but also in the inside with a plan which conceives three cabins in a classic layout; master room to fore, and two double cabins at amidships.  The living main saloon offers a smart single level area having opposite saloon and dining table, with a galley as it was standard a few years ago located in a separate lower level area to starboard.  Another interesting feature of the 57 Fly is its flybridge which offers a layout as if coming from a sportfish with a C-shaped settee to fore, helm console to starboard, and an L-shaped wetbar to aft. Tender space is located in a garage which opens the beach platform when at anchor.  Power choice is standard MAN 800hp, or optional Volvo 700 units with IPS pods propulsion.
