A ten meter Viking sportfish cruiser titled Need A Lift 7 with two persons onboard ended beached on a sand bar in Clinton, Connecticut, on the early afternoon of Saturday fifteen June. The causes of the grounding are a low tide, and also because Need A Lift 7 navigated outside channel markers. As up to Saturday evening it was reported that the Viking sportfish was waiting for high tide in order to free herself from the beaching without any assistance.
Need A Lift 7 is a Viking 35 Convertible as produced from 1984 to 92. The Viking 35 Convertible came out as a replacement to the 35 Flybridge Sport Fisher and was replaced by the 38 Convertible on the fall of 1990.
