New Model: Nordhavn 51

Announced in early 2021 it's been a bit of time coming for the Nordhavn 51, but finally the first unit has been launched in Turkey.  The Nordhavn 51 looks set to come as a replacement to the 52 although she is a bit smaller and leaner, with a shallower draft.  Like the 41 she is build in Turkey, the second Nordhavn model to be build outside of Taiwan.  Designed by Jeff Leishman the Nordhavn 51 gets a bit more modern take on its traditional looks, and here we see the addition of larger glazed windows for both the lower cabin deck, and the main deck saloon area.  The Nordhavn 51 offers a two cabins lower deck with an an owners stateroom at midships, and a guest suite forward.  For fifteen meters she has some interesting features like completely separate two cabins, and a third day head, which can be replaced as a cabinet.  The Nordhavn 51 is powered by twin John Deere 160hp for speeds up to ten knots, and cruise of eight for a long range over three thousand nautical miles.
