Project: Benetti Oasis 36M

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, Benetti introduced the Oasis 36M, a project which marks a further milestone in its collaboration with the British firm RWD for the exterior design and Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture for the interior spaces. With over fifty units cruising the oceans, the Oasis family of yachts has established itself as one of the most distinctive expressions of Benetti’s overarching vision, pioneering a refined approach to the relationship between yacht and sea. The Oasis 36M is a replacement to the 34M which has been produced from 2022 till this year in 23 units. The Oasis 36M is born from the wealth of insights accumulated across this fleet and direct dialogue with Owners and Captains. Consequently, real-world cruising experience is translated into sophisticated design solutions, enhanced comfort, superior efficiency, and advanced engineering. The design of Oasis 36M reinterprets onboard volumes around the authentic lifestyle patterns of its guests. The most cherished outdoor convivial areas; the Sun Deck, the Upper Deck terrace, and the iconic Oasis Deck® benefit from substantial spatial expansion, offering exceptional liveability, supreme comfort, and versatile layout configurations. Concurrently, the interior architecture has been reimagined to ensure a fluid, elegant continuity between spaces, eliminating redundant structural elements in favour of light-filled, airy environments. Reconfigured crew pathways guarantee complete separation between guests and crew, enabling the latter to operate with maximum efficiency through discreet, flawless service. On Oasis 36M, naval architecture and engineering adapt seamlessly to the expectations of the contemporary owner. The integration of a newly developed bow bulb from Benetti’s Research and Design department reduces hydrodynamic resistance by over 10% at a cruising speed of ten knots, maintaining propulsion fuel consumption at cruise speed. This remarkable hull efficiency allowed engineers to re-evaluate tank capacities based on real fleet data, which highlighted an increasing preference for extended stays at anchor. By strategically reducing fuel capacity without compromising the range required for practical cruising profiles, the saved volume has been reallocated to expand the black and grey water tanks. The result is extended autonomy at anchor, allowing guests to enjoy the most exclusive bays for consecutive days in complete self-sufficiency. The evolution of the Oasis 36M elevates acoustic comfort and seamless operational reliability into central pillars of the luxury onboard experience. For this the Oasis 36M will feature electric actuation for onboard systems, with traditional engine systems coupled to an optional hybrid system by Siemens.  Other innovations coming in the Oasis 36M will be fitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction even though the yacht is under five hundred Gross Tonnage, and D.gree data management for predictive maintainence.

Project: Arcadia A125

At Cannes 2026 Arcadia Yachts shared first glimpses of A125, marking the start of a journey that will gradually lead up to the yacht’s official debut, planned for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2028. A125 takes Arcadian Living into a more spacious dimension. The project brings together the principles that have set Arcadia Yachts apart on the international yachting stage right from the outset, working on a larger scale that showcases their value with even greater impact. Space, light, continuity with the water, privacy and freedom of movement are elements that come together to offer a new take on onboard living. The shipyard’s future flagship has been conceived to broaden the outlook of this vision, with living spaces designed to reach out and embrace the landscape, a focus on the quality of time spent on board, and careful consideration of each owner’s personal cruising style. The design is consistent with Arcadia Yachts’ identity and its concept of life at sea. A125 is the most ambitious showcase for Arcadia Yachts’ design journey yet. It’s an evolutionary step that looks to the future without affecting the brand’s spirit, consistency and identity. At 38 metres in length and 299 Gross Tonnage, A125 spans four decks and is the result of an in‑house effort by Arcadia Yachts, combining naval architecture with exterior and interior design in the framework of the same vision. This choice testifies to the level of mature design achieved by the brand and its ability to manage a complex project. The future flagship is designed to offer the liveability and perception of space usually associated with larger superyachts, featuring a balance between interior and outdoor areas, spaces for socialising, and settings offering more privacy. The standard layout accommodates ten guests in five cabins, with optional arrangements available for consideration depending on the owner’s needs. The crew quarters provide four cabins for a total of seven people. This is the start of a story that Arcadia Yachts will gradually tell as it unfolds, leading up to the official launch of A125.
