New Model: Palm Beach 65 Flybridge

Palm Beach Motor Yacht from down under Australia has recently launched the 65 Flybridge model. This model builds on the standard 65 launched more or less a year ago, with Palm Beach adding a flybridge with second helm station up top. Traditional down East lobster boat lines are standard on all Palm Beach yachts and the 65 is no exception with a nice modern touch added by the coach roof windows. A six guest berth interior accommodation plan is standard on the 65, with an optional choice of having also a two cabins with galley down choice. A total of six different layouts exist for the interior, three for the lower and three for upper main deck. A two berth crew cabin is located to mid ship behind the guest cabins area. The additional flybridge although also customisable offers in standard plan a central helm with two co-pilot seats to both sides, an L-shaped dinette, and a free aft deck. Power is twin Volvo 700hp with IPS pods which deliver top speeds of 32 knots.

Project: Sunreef 75 Power Sport Fish
Sunreef extend the length from the base 70ft model, to the 75 Sunreef Power Sport Fish. When touching the water the 75 is to be the biggest luxury catamaran-yacht available in the fishing version in the world. The performance and fuel efficiency of this yacht has been already proven by the five units built to date that are now cruising around the world. Indeed, the 70 Sunreef Power can reach top speeds of 30 knots when twin 1000hp engines and at the same time have an exceptional 8000 miles range on lower speeds with smaller engines. The cockpit fishing features include stern tuna tubes, massive fish box with high velocity shaved ice feed, a large bait preparation station, bait freezers, rod storage and much more. A special purpose-built aft platform which adds the five feet length was added to the cockpit and includes two comfortable fighting chairs with aluminium plate reinforcement and the offset swivel stanchion. A gigantic flybridge houses the main helm station with complete state-of-the art navigation and communication equipment. This space is permanently covered with a composite rigid top which allows for navigation in cold, northern fishing zones. Standard amenities also include a one-piece anodized aluminium ladder to the tower with outriggers from the flybridge. The outdoors of the flybridge can be fully customised and comprise sunbathing lounge, dining area, open bar and barbecue, water toys storage or a Jacuzzi. As for the interiors, they will be fully customised and laid-out in charter, owner or a semi-owner version accommodating from four to five double guest cabins all with private en-suite bathrooms and separate showers, TV and DVD set, small desk and storage and double crew cabin. New Model: Lazzara 76 Breeze
Named as the Lazzara 76 LMC project, the Fort Lauderdale show presented 76 Breeze is an interesting new model and continues the spirit of innovation route as started by this family run company in the last decade. The 76 Breeze is a motor yacht of the future, and while its main interest will surely be its propulsion of three engines with ZF pods, there is much more to it. Most interesting is that the 76 Breeze is surely one of the most spacious yachts in this size, not because of its four double cabins layout, very huge crew lobby, but also for other amenities as an utility room in between the rooms, and one of the largest flybridges in this size. In all this I have to say the 76 Breeze looks elegant, classic yet modern. Without going to far this is big challenge to European builders in this style of yacht with a US flare to the overall, and with ingenuity that rarely comes from the US in these sizes. Power which is the ticket of interest of this yacht is three Cummins 600hp with ZF pods propulsion which will offer a benefit of consumption numbers at the pump to move this fifty ton motor yacht. Technical Data:

Projects: Riviera 61 Enclosed Bridge Series II, Riviera 61 Open Flybridge Series II
Riviera presents the project for the 61 Series II in Enclosed Flybridge version as above or Open Flybridge as pictured below. When the 61 was launched in 2007, this model featured a Frank Mulder modified Vee hull shape and was regarded as the best handling in the Riviera fleet. Now the down under renowned builder enhances this model all over with new features as seen in latest Riviera models. A recognizable exterior feature of the 61 Series II will surely be the large hull window servicing the owners mid ship located stateroom. Below a three or four double cabin choice with both options having the living with saloon and galley on the main deck. In the four cabin choice, the extra bunk guest cabin takes space away from the fore VIP suite. Three heads serve the cabins two of which en suite for the owners and VIP rooms in both choices. The upper Enclosed Bridge which features an internal staircase will have C-shaped settee, dual seat helm station, wet bar, docking station outside, and a view mezzanine settee on the aft. The 61 Series II is also enhanced in the aft deck and will features a dual mezzanine settee as seen on the Riviera 70 flagship. Changes also include the main living deck now having an aft galley and forward L-shaped saloon. The galley thanks to the Riviera hinged window feature can join with the cockpit creating a nice inside outside fully communicating deck.www.riviera.com.au
