New Model: Sunseeker 63 Manhattan

Launched at the fall of 2010 Sunseeker 63 Manhattan is a motor yacht that continues the recent spirit of innovation the British brand has recently taken. Sunseeker does in fact follow the use of Volvo IPS pods as option on the 63 Manhattan making it the companies largest yacht which uses this propulsion so far. Sunseeker is the major user of the IPS pods in UK and has offered them first as option on the 47 Portofino, which was followed by the 52 Predator, and the new 48 Portofino. Interestingly all Sunseeker Volvo IPS models who use the propulsion offer this as option. The hull form of the 63 Manhattan although having a bench mark coming from the replacing 60 Manhattan model has been modified and designed to take both traditional shafts here being standard, or the option of Volvo IPS pod drives. According to Sunseeker the Volvo IPS option choice has produced fantastic results in performance, handling and economy. Interior options offer upper deck or lower deck galley, three or four staterooms with a midships full beam master and very large hull-side windows. Saloon and entertainment space has been increased and enlarged and panoramic superstructure windows ensure a feeling of openness. Power is a choice of twin Volvo 900hp with IPS optional or shaft propulsion standard.
