Project: Monte Carlo MCY 105 Skylounge

In 2020 Monte Carlo Yachts launched its first Skylounge model, a cutting-edge concept designed and manufactured by an Italian shipyard for the first time, intended to offer a new way of experiencing life on board. Today the company is ready to take the next leap creating a Skylounge version of its outstanding flagship, the MCY 105. With MCY 105 Skylounge, the shipyard introduces a ground-breaking product, never seen before in this segment: a 32-meter yacht which embodies the concept of enclosed flybridge interpreted by an Italian firm and characterized by an Italian design and style. Indeed, the new model will surprise owners worldwide for the impressive volumes, comparable with the ones of much larger units. Defining MCY 105 Skylounge, as conventionally done, by the length overall means to underestimate it, since this model introduces a totally new concept of liveable and customizable volumes able to amplify the space available on board. Offering unlimited options in terms of intended uses, distribution of the space and personalization of the different areas, MCY 105 Skylounge guarantees unprecedented levels of freedom allowing unexplored solutions. Wide areas are offered both on the upper and on the main deck which features the spacious owner cabin, while other generous accommodations are located in the lower deck. With this innovative yacht, Monte Carlo Yachts confirms the customer-oriented attitude that has distinguished the shipyard since the beginnings. For years, the company has been collaborating closely with owners from all over the world, remaining true to its promise of always keeping the customer at the centre. For the 105 Skylounge Monte Carlo Yachts is collaborating with its long lasting partners, Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard, who boast an extensive expertise in designing mega yachts. MCY 105 Skylounge features MCY Collection’s iconic design elements and naval allure such as a perfect balance between hull and superstructure, a painstaking attention to details and proportions, and an attentive distribution of light in the interiors. Moreover, the model offers a variety of interior and exterior areas with overall volumes of a much larger yacht. The first MCY 105 Skylounge was commissioned by an Asian owner who chose the Italian shipyard for its capability to meet expectations in terms of customization and delivery time. The need was to have a super yacht that could be enjoyed not only in extreme climates, but everywhere, thanks to the numerous spacious exterior areas it displays. The new MCY 105 Skylounge will be delivered to its owner at the beginning of summer 2022, when we will see it cruising around the Mediterranean Sea in all its grandeur.

Project: Monte Carlo Yacht MCY76 Skylounge

After the success Monte Carlo Yachts received with the MCY70 Skylounge, the Italian based French Beneteau Group owned boat builder immediately followed it with the project of the two meter larger MCY76.  Skylounge or Enclosed-Bridge yachts are popular in North America, and down under Australian continents for two reasons, first they create another all weather climate controlled environment, second they free space in the main deck.  The solution is most popular with sportfish yachts above twenty meters, but in recent years thanks to the Aussie builders we are seeing the idea going in lower sizes and in more cruising dedicated motor yachts.  Hence we have seen the Beneteau Group with its headlining Monte Carlo Yachts motor yachting brand make attention and in less to a year present two models with this set up.  The MCY76 Skylounge will be accessed from an internal stair case to starboard, and will feature a central helm station with two by two forward settees.  To aft of the station is an L-shaped relax lounger with sofa opposite, while the open part aft will offer a free space.  Below the MCY76 Skylounge will benefit from two options replacing the lower helm station area, that for a large C-shaped galley, and or a large C-shaped lounger with galley aft layout.

Thanks to the enclosed bridge the 70 Skylounge, and replaces the main deck helm station with more space below and a different layout offering a larger galley to starboard.  The Monte Carlo MCY 70 is a four cabin motor yacht, and is powered by twin Man 1300hp engines which give top speeds up to 26 knots.

Project: Monte Carlo 52

Monte Carlo present the project of the 52, a replacement of the 5 model set to launch in September 2019 and be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival.  With the 52 the French boat building giant is marking the introduction of the new generation of Monte Carlo motor yachts by Beneteau. We can call it generation two, and we see some different details to the first single digit units, with the understanding that this is more of a conservative exterior design, unlike the contemporary design of the previous units.  The Monte Carlo 52 will be over sixteen meters long and boasts enhanced spaces, light and comfort.  Like all other Monte Carlo the 52 is designed by Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard for the exterior line, while Andréani takes care for the interior accommodation, and the Vee shaped hull was designed in partnership with Amedeo Micali of MICAD. The 52 will be longer and has a greater beam than the previous Monte Carlo 5 model, and will feature a spacious three double cabins two head accommodating interior, with a full beam owners cabin featuring an independent access. An optional crew cabin with single berth is lcoated aft . The main deck is centered around the large saloon, while the flybridge also available with a hard t-top version has reorganized spaces.  The Monte Carlo 52 will feature an aft galley saloon layout easy to connect with the interior dinette and the aft cockpit. Project: Monte Carlo MCY 76

It was 2010 and after some years of speculation and an announcement, Beneteau moved forward with its upmarket line of Monte Carlo Yachts.  The first of that new line to be designed, so far in its entirety by Italian designers Nuvolari Lenard was the MCY 76.  Nearly nine years has passed and the MCY 76 enters its renewal phase and here Monte Carlo Yachts presents its third new model for the 2019 season.  The MCY 76 builds on the lines of the previous model softening them in some areas, adding windows in others.  The result from the rendering above shows more aggressive looks.  The MCY 76 will offer four double guest cabins, plus two crew crew cabins located in between the engine room and the midships master stateroom.  Power for the new MCY 76 will come from standard Man 1400hp or optional 1550hp engines with speeds going up to thirty knots with the large engine option.

Project: Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 66

Monte Carlo Yachts enters its second stage of development what it is calling as the new Vision series, which was baptized with the new MCY 70 presented during the 2019 Dusseldorf boat show.  For 2019 Monte Carlo Yachts will present two other models, the MCY 66 we are speaking about here, what replaces the current entry level of the range the MCY 65, and a new MCY 76.  Desgined as all the range since its inception by Nuvolari Lenard, the new MCY 66 is an evolution of the MCY 65 launched in the fall of 2011.  The new Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 66 is recognizable mostly from the previous 65 from its new big hull window serving the forward cabins.  The MCY 66 will feature a three double cabins interior, with a full beam midships located owners cabin.  The main deck is designed around an open plan layout with one step level and astern galley.  The MCY 66 will be powered by twin Man 1000hp or 1200hp engines with top speeds up to thirty knots.

Project: Monte Carlo Yachts MCY96

Monte Carlo Yachts has announced the development of the new MCY 96, an almost thirty meter super yacht that both further develops the MCY design philosophy and technical specifications and boosts the company's collection through a unique vessel with a scope and defining traits.  The new MCY 96 has been designed according to the highest standards on the market and complies with RINA Pleasure or Charter Class certifications. Upon request, the new model can also be certified according to CE-A category standards to be utilized as a pleasure boat or according to MCA MGN 280. The possibility to choose the preferred type of certification represents a quite unique feature and a highly significant added value for the owner.  Following the success of the award-winning MCY 105, the MCY 96 enters the collection as the result of Monte Carlo Yachts prominent and continued investments in the superyacht category, and will be followed by new models in the next future. The design of the MCY 96 was once again entrusted to Nuvolari Lenard. The firm's development of the MCY collection award-winning design philosophy shines throughout every nuance and detail of Monte Carlo Yacht's and maximizes key concepts and contents to achieve unprecedented results in its category. The yacht stands out for its smooth lines, high bow and deceptively low profile that confer its external profile a timeless, contemporary allure that is the natural evolution of the iconic MCY lines while keeping a coherent consistency with the rest of the collection.  Monte Carlo Yachts will present the new MCY 96 at an exclusive, invitation-only event in July before showcasing it at the Cannes, Monaco and Genova yacht shows.  Three units have so far been sold of the Monte Carlo Yachts MCY96.

New Model: Monte Carlo MC6

The Monte Carlo range finally completes its circle with the launch of the awaited MC6, the Beneteau Group luxury motorboat range gets close to the larger yacht size MCY line.  Just short of sixty feet in size the MC6 is again a design to the Venice studio of Nuvolari Lenard, and this can be seen with the similarity and evolution of the looks to the smaller MC models, and larger MCY's. Just as the smaller MC models the MC6 if looked from the front feels a classic in the making with cues from Down-East lobster boats, and the timeless ingenuity that the flush fore deck delivers. The MC6 is available with two interior layouts, a European version with three staterooms and heads, and a Far East layout which offer some important changes to the lower deck and minimal differences on the main deck. As all the smaller MCs the interior is very well finished with a mix of modern classic contemporary design elements. Power comes from rather small for an eighteen meter motor yacht twin Cummins 600hp engines, with ZF Zeus aft looking pod drives.  This might just be the Achilles heel of the MC6 versus major competition from the known brands with this package delivering a just okay 27 knots top speeds.

Project: Monte Carlo Yachts MCY105

In the last four years Monte Carlo Yachts was always present at Cannes with a new model, but for 2014, the company showcased a flagship project which takes its size up by nineteen feet and is set to launch in 2015.  Set to upgrade a more super yachts awareness of this Beneteau Group brand, which is currently built in Italy the MCY 105 is designed as the other Monte Carlo's by Nuvolari Lenard, and follows a family feeling to its smaller 86, 76, 70, and 65 sisters.  A few important industry novelties characterize the 105 in its size; separate semi raised pilot house, owners room in between the main and lower deck as seen on an another smaller 23 meters Beneteau Group model, and the Portuguese bridge, this last being a characteristic of all Monte Carlo Yachts.  As the other MCY the 105 will also be full of high tech building components, from the use of aluminium beam, to eight tons of carbon fiber and Kevlar usage in the construction.

Project: Monte Carlo MC5S

After a well received introduction to the first Monte Carlo 5 the past Dusseldorf boat show, the Beneteau Group was fast to capitalize on this success by extending the MC range with three further upcoming projects, one of which the entry level 4 model presented in Cannes.  The Monte Carlo MC5S, builds on an identical platform of the standard 5 model with it being a glazed sunroof opening hard top sport yacht, that means no flybridge up top and second helm. But the designers at Beneteau also felt the need to add something on top of the extended fiberglass part of the hard top and the MC5S features a C-shaped dinette up top which converts to a two person private sun-pad. Inside the the MC5S features the very well laid layout with its prime features being the astern galley, three double cabins, full beam amidships owners suite, and a crew cabin to aft.  Power is twin Volvo 435hp engines with IPS pod drives.

New Model: Monte Carlo MCY 86

It was for sure one of the most talked about models presented in the fall of the season at the major boat shows, and also a showing that the Beneteau Group is meaning big business with its Monte Carlo yachts range.  If ever there was needed more proof of this! Three years after the debut of the first Monte Carlo Yacht the 76, MCY presents its new flagship the 86, which also signals the entrance of Beneteau Group into super yacht over 24 meters size in the power segment.  Apart the original and distinct Monte Carlo Yachts design thanks to the clever hands of Italian Venice designers Nuvolari Lenard, the MCY prides itself also for its semi custom attitude below, offering five different layout to the lower deck; three, four or five cabins choices await here.  Another interesting nice element in the MCY 86 is the location of the galley located to fore by the crew lobby, with a stair case which leads into the pilot house.  This means that the main saloon is fully dedicated for over ninety per cent for owner and guests entertainment, the only space lost here is the pilot station to starboard.
