The first Custom Line Navetta 38 superyacht touched the water for the first time on Wednesday January 31, at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, during a ceremony attended by the owner family and the shipyard’s employees, who witnessed the launch of the first hull super yacht with great pride and satisfaction. Multiple features ensure that the owner and his family will have a unique cruising experience on board this superyacht, with sophisticated combinations of elegance and live-ability, timelessly classic style, immersive continuity between interiors and exteriors, and direct contact with the sea, not least thanks to the generous and versatile beach club. Replacing the Navetta 37 after seven years of production and fifteen hulls the Custom Line Navetta 38 was designed, engineered and built at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona and is the result of a joint design effort by the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Department and its Engineering Department as directed by Piero Ferrari. Ferretti's Custom Line Navetta 38 is a semi-custom yacht measuring over 38 meters in length with a displacement hull and a total volume of 299 gross tonnage characterized by innovative exterior and interior design and outstanding seagoing performance. The exterior styling is by Filippo Salvetti, while the interior design is by ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. Custom Line Atelier provided vital interior design consulting, working in close contact with the owner to transform the yacht into a faithful portrait of his style preferences. A hymn to the values of quality, volume and comfort extending across four decks, the new Custom Line Navetta 38 has in fact been designed to maximize use of all the spaces available on its four decks. In addition to the master suite, Custom Line Navetta 38 has four guest cabins on the lower deck, accommodating a total of ten people on board and seven crew members, including the captain. The exterior design of Custom Line Navetta 38 is classic, timeless and clean, featuring essential and elegant sculptural lines enhanced by generous glazed surfaces and forming a harmonious blend of maritime tradition and stylish innovation. The yacht’s interiors are designed for maximum use of space, with optimum control of all volumes and functional exploitation of the entire available surface area to ensure flexibility. Ferretti Custom Line New Web Site

Ferretti Custom Line presents its new web site.  Custom Line was founded in 1996 by Carlo Moschini, Ottavio Caschino, with Norberto and Alessandro Ferretti joining some months later.  With the joining of Ferretti, Custom Line becomes the big 25 meters plus super yacht brand of Ferretti, and sets the first stage of the Ferretti Group creation.  In the beginning Ferretti Custom Line will build its first units at the Moschini shipyard in Fano, who at time was also building yachts and super yachts under its own Siar Moschini brand from 21 to 43 meters, but this ends prematurely in 1999 when Azimut-Benetti Group buys the shipyard.  In around 2000 Ferretti Custom Line will make a short production move at the Ferretti yard in Forli, and then sets up home at the Ancona Ferretti Group super yacht yard in 2002, where today it has five dedicated sheds in the 80,000 square-meters facility.  Ferretti Custom Line shows its first three projects, the 94, 106, and 112 in the end of 1996, with the smaller 94 launching in 1998, followed by the 112 in 2001, and the 106 remaining as a concept.  From 1998 up till today Ferretti Custom Line has build over three hundred super yachts from 26 to 42 meters, which makes it one of the most successful super yacht builders in this size segment.  From 1996 till 2018 all Custom Line have been designed by Giovanni Zuccon, Ferretti's main designer from 1990, with Francesco Paszkowski taking over the planning line with the 120 in 2017, and Filippo Salvetti the Navetta series from the second generation 30 in 2020. Today Custom Line offers eight models, three in the Planning and five from the Navetta line which start from the Navetta 30 and go up to the alloy build Navetta 50 project. The Custom Line latest model is the 140 which debuted in 2022, with the Navetta 38 project set to launch in 2024. Project: Ferretti Custom Line Navetta 38

During the Monaco yacht show, Ferretti Group presented the project for the new Custom Line Navetta 38.  A replacement for the Navetta 37 which debuted in 2016 and has sold in fifteen units, the Custom Line Navetta 38 is the latest made-to-measure yacht in the brand’s displacement line, with the first unit under construction at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, for a 2024 launch. The Ferretti Custom Line Navetta 38 will featured a volume displacement under 300 GT, and comes from a design of Filippo Salvetti for exterior and interior by ACPV Architects of Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, with the Piero Ferrari led Ferretti Group Engineering Department managing the naval architecture and product development. Extraordinary combinations of elegance and liveability, timeless classicism and harmony with the marine environment, direct contact with the sea and seamless continuity between interiors and exteriors are the features that present the Custom Line Navetta 38. This superyacht was in fact designed to maximise the usage of all available space on the four decks, with a large master suite of over forty squared meters on the main deck and completely separated crew and guest flows to ensure maximum privacy. The stern area is an innovative feature on board Custom Line Navetta 38 and a completely new take on the full-beam beach deck concept. The beach club and main deck cockpit, together covering over 70 squared meters are totally open and furnished with a system of freestanding modular units, thus creating a more extensive, generous and multi-functional area at the water’s edge that embodies the flush deck concept. The new beach club is a versatile space with the sea-facing couch enjoying  panoramic views, while the spacious swim platform provides direct access to the water which extends with two opening gunwales to extend the space. The beach club’s rational and functional layout means that this space is extremely practical and easy to use, a further accent on the concept of continuity and openness between yacht and open sea is the all-glass construction of the parapets in the main deck cockpit and the forward part of the sundeck. With a total surface area of 70 square metres and 15 metres in length, the extended sun deck becomes an extraordinary space in which to socialise and relax, complete with a spectacular sea-view jacuzzi aft with sun cushions, a sun lounge area forward and an open-air dining area under the shelter of a painted hard top. The entire area is surrounded by expansive glazing that offers a magnificent 180-degree view. The exteriors are characterised by a timelessly classic design language that features simple, harmonious lines expressing absolute luxury with elegance and refinement.  The key word for the Custom Line Navetta 38 is flexibility designed to enhance the experience offered by its interior spaces. The interior design is focused on maximum use of space through optimum control of all the volumes and functional exploitation of the entire available surface area. Another strong focus was on natural light, with extensive full-height windows creating powerful continuity between external and internal spaces and a feeling of harmony with the marine environment. The interior design is developed around a concept based on refined detailing and the use of fine materials with natural textures, including various types of leather and also linen and parchment, chosen both for the finishing's and the upholstery and coverings. The custom-designed furnishings are skilfully handcrafted by the shipyard’s expert personnel, a triumph of style made possible by the collaboration with ACPV Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, who have revisited the stylistic features of maritime tradition, from the concept to the colour palette through a contemporary lens, highlighting the union between the yacht and the furnishings, the later custom designed and made to measure from natural leather and wood using sophisticated handcrafting techniques. The two architects has created an exclusive décor solutions based on two different moods: the more contemporary “cold mood” that plays with the cool hues of sky and navy blue, and the more classic and timeless “warm mood”, which features a warmer and cosier palette. Underscoring the possibility for owners to customise the yacht’s interiors, one of the brand’s signature features, the first Custom Line Navetta 38 will have a more neutral mood that further emphasises the bond with nature through natural, muted and neutral colours such as beige and ivory. In addition to the master suite, Custom Line Navetta 38 has four guest cabins on the lower deck, accommodating a total of ten people and seven crew members in four cabins, including the captain. Ideal for covering long distances with low fuel consumption and to enjoy category- beating performance, the  Custom Line Navetta 38 is standard powered by twin Man 1400hp for a top speed up to fifteen knots, with a range of about 2,800 nautical miles at an economy cruising speed of ten knots. Custom Live Navetta is also be Selective Catalytic Reduction ready and installing the system brings a 70% reduction in NOx emissions and IMO3 compatible.

The Ferretti Group and Custom Line Superyacht Yard in Ancona celebrates the launch of  the brand new 42 Navetta.  A super yacht just over 300 Gross Tonnage in size, the Ferretti Custom Line 42 Navetta is the result of a design process that has kept the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the Group Engineering Department and Studio Zuccon International Project busy for more than two years.  The 42 Navetta projects a vision of the sea expressed by design in motion, sophisticated elegance and extraordinary performance.  Both the interiors and exteriors of the new Navetta 42 can be extensively customized, so that each owner can create their own dream boat. The layout optimizes the way the generous spaces are used, adopting an innovative and attentive approach to the organisation of the interiors and particularly the outdoor settings, which exploit the four decks to the full to offer the utmost privacy and comfort at sea. A huge suite on the main deck is reserved for the owner, while the layout on the lower deck features four VIP suites. Project: Ferretti Custom Line 106

Ferretti Custom Line is broadening the horizons of yachting with a new project that got an enthusiastic response from the public and members of the trade at the recent US boat shows. The Custom Line 106 is a new addition to the planing range. The 106 is a product of the partnership between the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio, his second for Ferretti Custom Line and follows the 120 which was launched at the end of 2017, the Ferretti Group's Engineering Department and the Product Strategy Committee led by the engineer Piero Ferrari. The design of the lines on the bottom and the hull helps it to replicate and build on the outstanding hydrodynamic performance of the latest models in the brand’s planing range. The Ferretti Custom Line 106 has large floor surfaces totaling 220 square meters that are all interconnected. To the stern is a more advanced version of the patented Dual Mode Transom system. It features two hatches that cover the stairs when the vessel is in motion, thus giving the stern a clean-cut appearance. When the super yacht stops, they disappear into the central part of the door so that guests can climb up. From the garage, a tender of up to 5.45 meters and a three-person jet ski can be lowered into the water. The forward area is even bigger than on other recent models: on the raised central island there are sofas and upholstered seating with reclining backrests and on the bow area there is a large sun pad spanning a total of 36 squared meters. There is also an additional garage for a Williams 2.80 Jet or a three-person jet ski.  The forward area is directly connected to the 53 squared meters flybridge by a walkway. Protected by two large windows on the sides, it has a standard hard top with two skylights. In addition, bimini tops or canopies can be fitted to provide shade in the external areas. The interiors are bathed in natural light thanks to the large, full-height windows. On request, the central window on the starboard side of the lounge can be fitted with an electric opening mechanism. The support columns used on the Custom Line 120 can also be found here, with lighting, audio and air conditioning systems on them. Further along the starboard side, there is a full-beam master cabin in the foredeck which contains plenty of storage space for the owner, as well as two dressing rooms and a large bathroom with dual facilities and a central shower. On request, a panoramic terrace can be added. The port-side bulwark of the main deck provides access to the galley, the crew quarters; consisting of a cabin for the captain with a bathroom and a separate shower, and two crew cabins with a separate bathroom, and the integrated raised bridge. The layout on the lower deck contains four standard cabins: two VIP cabins amidships and two twin ones forward, all with separate bathrooms. The beds in the VIP cabins face the bulwark to make the most of the view from the large hull windows, while an optional additional Pullman bed can be fitted in each of the two twin cabins. The style of the vessel continues in the same vein as the Ferretti Custom Line 120: it explores greater formal balance and there are distinctive, strong color contrasts in the furnishings and coverings. Like the other recent Custom Line models, the 106 comes with innovative software that allows an iPad to be used to operate the entertainment system installed in the lounge on the main deck, meaning that the various remote controls can be replaced by a single device. This technological solution can be extended to all of the different parts of the maxi yacht and it can also be used in conjunction with the owner’s personal devices. The Ferretti Custom Line 106 is to be powered by twin MTU 2217hp engines, which can take it to a maximum speed of 23 knots. Alternatively, it is possible to ask for twin MTU 2638hp engines and reach a maximum speed of 26 knots. The standard version is equipped with electro-hydraulic stabilizing fins, offering both underway and zero-speed modes. On request, gyroscopic stabilizers can also be fitted for maximum comfort at anchor.

New Model: Ferretti Custom Line 120

Technical launch for the first-born of Ferretti Custom Line 120 the new planing line, built for an American owner and bearing the signature of Francesco Paszkowski design. The eagerly expected world premiere is scheduled to take place in the US in early 2018.  Brand new and magnificent, sublime in its design and spatial layout, sporty and luxurious, the new jewel in the planing fleet and the first to carry the signature of Francesco Paszkowski who is the first designer to design a Ferretti Custom Line outside of Giovanni Zuccon in a production span of twenty years.  Ferretti Custom Line 120 was launched at the Ferretti Group shipyard in La Spezia at the end of November.  The technical launch took place in the presence of Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi, the Group's Senior Management and the Custom Line Engineering and Sales teams. Attending the event as the owner's representatives were the yacht's captain and Jason Wood, the US broker through whom the sale was made.  The official delivery is due at the end of 2017 afterwards Custom Line 120 will head for the United States, a hugely successful market for the brand and the owner's native land for its memorable world premiere event in Florida. The new yacht will then make Miami its base, where it will sail between Florida and the Caribbean and will also provide a charter service.  The product of a joint effort between the design studio of Milan-based architect Francesco Paszkowski and the Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, Custom Line 120 marks a major turning point in the development of the brand's planing fleet and is set to become the icon of a new era for Custom Line.  The yacht combines traditional stylistic features of boating with elements and characteristics that are typical of automotive design and civil architecture. A very thorough research on contemporary trends has also enhanced forms and volumes through furnishing choices in line with state-of-the-art interior design.  A new feature is the hull’s construction process, created through infusion molding. These structures are built and assembled as a sandwich to provide maximum solidity and lightness, which are enhanced by the skillful use of carbon fiber.  The design of the cockpit is striking for its contemporary look, thanks to a large, innovative window subdivided into two sections which swing open separately to create a versatile area that can be used to lengthen the cockpit and extend the lounge. On the upper deck, the comfort of a flybridge and the sportiness of a coupe blend admirably in a panoramic deck with an aerodynamic design to be enjoyed in total privacy, a perfect setting offering owner and guests a luxurious relaxation area complete with Jacuzzi.  Ferretti Custom Line 120 is equipped with twin MTU 2638hp, and is estimated to reach a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top speed of 25 knots.  As per tradition, all internal furnishings have been customized to suit the owner's wishes.  Because a Custom Line is not only a masterpiece of Italian design and engineering, but above all a portrait of the person who selected and will lives it.  The second Ferretti Custom Line 120 is currently under construction at the La Spezia production facility, while the hull of the third yacht will be transferred to the Liguria site in January 2018.

New Model: Ferretti Custom Line 33 Navetta

With five units already sold ahead of its presentation, the new Ferretti Custom Line 33 Navetta has taken to the water at Group's Superyacht Yard in Ancona on 26 June.  The 33 Navetta follows on the new generation design as outlined again by Zuccon and follows on from the Navetta 37.  The Navetta 33 is the second model in the new series to hit the water and the third project in the new generation of Custom Line yachts, joining an unrivaled fleet of semi-displacement super yachts.  The 33 Navetta will be specially presented to dedicated Ferretti Group clients in a super exclusive event titled Midsummer Dream, in the setting of Ibiza on 29 and 30 July and will see the unveiling of the yacht in the exclusive Lio venue, one of the most glamorous clubs in the international nightlife scene, leased for a private event for the first time, the famous Ibiza Marina and the magnificent Experimental Beach, with its unmistakable Balearic charm.  The new Navetta 33 is yet another product of the joint efforts of the Product Strategy Committee of the Ferretti Group, headed by Mr. Piero Ferrari, along with Studio Zuccon International Project for the exterior design and the Group's Engineering Department for the interior design.  The Navetta 33 introduces some major innovations to Custom Line's semi-displacement super yachts of this size, added to the distinctive features that have already proved so popular on Navetta 37.  The hull with bulbous bow delivers performance at the top of its class in terms of seaworthiness and stability with a range of 2000 nautical miles possible at economic cruising speed  The 33 Navetta also offers fabulous spaces to owners and their guests across all four decks: from the wide-body master suite forward on the main deck, through to the four guest cabins on the lower deck.  Thanks to the external panoramic terrace on the starboard main deck, and the fabulous sliding windows on the aft upper deck, the lounge areas and interior and exterior dining areas are spacious and bright.  By contrast, the sun deck with swimming pool and large sun pad is designed to provide moments of total privacy.  The Navetta 33 features all the technical innovations that characterize all Custom Line's latest models: the patented DMT system for optimal use of the stern area; VOTIS software to provide the most flexible and practical on-board infotainment systems; and an integrated helm station for safe monitoring of the systems and equipment on board while under way.  Moreover, the first Navetta 33 is equipped with a top of the range Hi-Fi system.  Additional features include a special flexible joint in the transmission lines, which absorbs shaft vibrations, and other cutting-edge solutions that reduce noise levels to a minimum.  The floating floor beneath the parquet flooring, for example, helps reduce the transmission of noise to the living areas by softening any footfall.  Further comfort and safety solutions when mooring and at anchor include the electro-hydraulic stabilizing fins and on request added with Seakeeper stabilizers. There are three engine options available for the Ferretti Custom Line 33 Navetta: Man 1400hp and or 1600hp, and Cats 1622hp.

Project: Ferretti Custom Line 120

Ferretti Custom Line present the project for a 120, a new tri-deck super yacht with semi wide body planning hull.  The Custom Line 120 also marks twenty years, born 1996 as a Ferretti super yacht brand which also laid the first stepping stones for the formation of the Ferretti Group, which formed officially two years later in 1998 with the entrance of Pershing into the holding. This new Ferretti Custom Line 120 is also a first for the brand with design coming from famous Italian Milan residing Francesco Paszkowski.  This an interesting turn of events since for a first time in twenty years we are seeing a Ferretti Custom Line outside the design influence of Giovani Zuccon.  Some questions automatically come. Will the Ferretti Custom Line mark the first of a new more free designer role, or is it a one off concept by Paszkowski?  Will the Milan designer, also known for his long work for Baglietto and Sanlorenzo for a decade or more take design responsibility for Custom Line?  Only time will answer the first question, with the second possibly being replied on the sale success the Ferretti Custom Line 120 will bring.

Project: Ferretti Custom Line 42 Navetta

In the year of the twentieth anniversary of Ferretti Custom Line, the company launches the new Navetta 37 and plans the future of Custom Line semi-displacement series. At “Yachts Miami Beach 2016” the Group has announced the birth of the biggest Custom Line Navetta ever built, the astonishing Navetta 42. The Navetta 42 is the first Custom Line ship over 300 Gross Tonnage and it will be launched in 2018. The new ship is designed by Studio Zuccon under the guidance of the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Committee and developed by the in-house Engineering Department.  The 42 Navetta will feature some interesting details as its four decks offering even more spaces for the owner and his guests. Project: Ferretti Custom Line 28 Navetta

Ferretti presents the project for a new Custom Line 28 Navetta, a model which will replace the 26 as entry level of the semi displacement line. Designed as all Ferretti Custom Line by the usual Zuccon and the Group's Advanced Yacht Technology department cooperation the 28 Navetta will make its debut in the coming Cannes 2014 boat show.  For this model Giovanni Zuccon gave the 28 Navetta a more explorer yacht look, thanks to the higher bow, mid-ship reverse sheer line, a triple-deck design which makes fuller use of the upper floor, and the sun bridge up top.  The 28 Navetta also comes with two important innovations; patented dual mode transom, and the innovative RINA Italian registry certified 1.4 square meters view windows in the lower deck for the cabins produced with Amaregroup. The patented dual mode transom made in collaboration with Besenzoni makes the 28 Navetta stand out for two important items; largest bathing platform beach space of nine square meters in its size and tender garage for up to 4.45 meters.  Goes without saying that easy hauling is the word for the tender launch and recovery and there is no need for any davit in doing this operation thanks to the mechanism of the flood-able garage.  Accommodation wise the 28 Navetta will offer five guest cabins with an owners room on the main deck. Three similar sized VIP rooms; two at midships and one to port side characterize the standard layout. The 28 Navetta also has two options for the main deck; with the main difference of the plans being the astern bar to starboard in plan B. Engine wise the Ferretti Custom Line 28 Navetta will be powered by twin MAN 1200hp engines, which give a top speed of 16 knots, 13 of cruise and long range of 1250 nautical miles at an economic 10 knots.  The 28 Navetta is also a step ahead in the construction and will be fully infusion built, use special sun resistant materials for the final paint finish, and has a high attention for the sound proofing of the vessel to guarantee maximum silence during navigation.
