A sportfish cruiser of twelve meters in length went ablaze at 5500 block of Trailhead Drive near Chickamauga Lock, Chattanooga, Tennessee at 11:37 of Monday 27 March 2023. Chattanooga Fire Department fought the blaze, from the sea with its fireboats, and extinguished the flames. No one was injured as crew managed to leave the boat as the fire started. Clean-up operations followed the fire.
The sportfish cruiser in this fire is a Riviera 39 Open Flybridge as produced from 1991 to 1996 in 53 units. The 39 Open Flybridge was a replacement to the 38 Mark.II and was replaced by the Riviera 39 Open Flybridge Series II.
