New Model: Lynx Crossover 27

The Dutch shipyard, Lynx Yachts, has rounded off the first quarter of 2022 with a major announcement: the launch of its first 27.4-metre Crossover 27 superyacht, titled m/y Avontuur.  The first Lynx Crossover 27 hit the water on eighteen March, with this first unit of the series boasting numerous custom features in order to meet her American owner’s requirements. Crossover 27 design and layout maximises tender and toy storage to suit the needs of her outdoorsy and sporty owner, whilst still retaining her stylish superyacht appearance.  The super yachts initial layout from Lynx included four staterooms, comprising an owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin, and two twin cabins with the crew quarters located aft of the engine room. However, the owner of this first Crossover  27 opted to change this into three guest cabins and modified the crew quarters integrating into the guest space.  With the concept design and engineering taken care of in house, the vessel features exterior design from the drawing boards of the Dutch studio Bernd Weel, interiors by the French designer Franck Darnet and naval architecture by the Alkmaar-based studio Diana. Standout features on board the Crossover 27 include her large light-filled main deck saloon, a seventy-square-metre main deck which transforms easily into a spacious entertainment area once the toys launched.  The sundeck is equipped with a crane, and will house two Yamaha Wave-runners and two stand-up jet-skis. The lazaretto toy storage provides ample space for water sports equipment such as stand-up paddleboards, surfboards, canoes, scuba diving equipment and much more.  The Lynx Crossover 27 is powered by twin Cat 850hp engines reaching a maximum speed of fourteen knots, a cruise of twelve which an an impressive range of 1,800 nautical miles.
