Canados Nearly Sinks in Castellammare di Stabia

A 25 meter Canados super yacht hit a reef outside Castellammare di Stabia, to the South of the Gulf of Naples on the early afternoon of 30th May.  No one was injured in the accident, the Canados super yacht was lucky to have find assistance and was later towed to a shipyard for repairs.  The damage is reported to be of minimum average entity, though the 2021 season might have to be called off for the yacht.  The towage operation involved a big barge with crane and a tug boat on the same day, and was completed on late evening.
The Canados in this accident is an 86, a project of Marine Technology Services and produced from 2004 to 2017 in 46 units.  The Canados 86 was born from the 80S, which was the first unit of this semi-custom motor yacht series. The Canados 86 came out as a replacement to the 25 and was replaced by the 88 Evolution.
