An eight meter tender boat which was refuelling at Bahia Mar Marina in Fort Lauderdale also caused damage to the 57 meter Feadship super yacht W for an accident which happened on the morning of Sunday seventeen January 2021. Twenty fire fighters responded to the accident, according to reports the tender boat went ablaze after refuelling, and then drifted into the super yacht. No one was injured with the tender boat ending wrecked, and the Feadship super yacht sustaining cosmetic fire damage mostly on its starboard bow area.
The super yacht in this accident is m/y W a 2013 Feadship 57.60 meter Hull. 685 as designed by De Voogt for exterior and naval architecture with interiors by Bannberg and Rowell. Christened as Larisa, m/y W had in July 2020 completed a ten month refit back at Feadship.
