A nine meter Sea Ray sport cruiser with six persons onboard was saved from a peril situation in Biscayne Bay, Miami, on the afternoon of Sunday 24 January. The Sea Ray sport cruiser ended powerless as it was cruising in the always busy Biscayne channel and was very close to ending damaged on the rocks, if it was not for the intervention of Biscayne Bay Pilots Boatman, Captain Brett Dudas who noted the vessel in difficulty and helped it get out of the situation.
The Sea Ray sport cruiser in this accident is a Sundancer 320 model as produced from 2018 and still in production today. The Sea Ray Sundancer 320 came out as a replacement to the 310 Sundancer with an innovative use of the fore main deck area.
