New Model: Dominator D28 Ilumen

Dominator have launched its most waited model with the innovative D28 Ilumen finally going into the water at the end of May.  That is three years after the project of Ilumen was released in the second half of 2014.  Designed by Alberto Mancini the Dominator D28 Ilumen was build with an epoxy resin and carbon fiber mix, and features an unedited semi displacement with bulb hull shape called High Performance Hull by the Italian boat builder. This hull shape aims to maximize efficiency at semi planning speeds while still allowing for speeds in the mid to high twenties.  As usual to Dominator the D28 Ilumen is a semi custom build and here the company presents itself with two different lower deck layout options for three or four guest cabins on paper.  Hull one featured a five cabins layout, owners stateroom on the main deck and four suites below.  Power options start from twin Man 1200hp as featured on hull one and allowing a max speed of 21 knots, and go up to MTU 2400hp units.
