New Model: Viking 82 Enclosed Bridge

Hull number six in the Viking 82 Series was delivered to its owner at the start of the Memorial Day Weekend. This is the first Enclosed Bridge which also featured a further Sky Bridge up top to leave the New Gretna plant, and as the photo clearly shows, the yacht’s flowing topside lines meld beautifully with the hull’s aggressive profile. In addition to the Enclosed Bridge in this case with Sky Bridge, the Viking 82 is available as a standard Convertible with normal open bridge as was the case for hulls constructed from one to five and a standard Enclosed Bridge version. Accommodation layouts for the 82 Viking flagship are for five double cabins with the option of choosing a full beam master stateroom or a different version with a similarly spacious owners cabin to fore. The enclosed bridge offers a central helm stations with two addition view settees on both sides, and an l-shaped settee aft to port. Standard Caterpillar C32A of 1825hp each can push for speeds of 35 knots max and 30 knots of continuous cruise. Further more powerful engines options with MTU 2000V16 of 2030hp or 2400hp each are available.
