Earlier this week Nord West launched a first boat with a new system called Stern drive Joystick. Similar to the IPS this new drive system has electrical steering and manoeuvring in harbours can be done with a joystick. Nord West was among the first users of Volvo IPS system as well as being among the first to make a special designed hull for the propulsion. Every boat can be installed with a maximum of 4 joystick controls. With the new system stern drive with joystick Nord West has chosen as the first boat the 370 SportsTop, which is there latest model release with an electrical soft top hatch.
