New Model: Beneteau 42 Monte Carlo Hard Top

Beneteau present their eight model in its sport cruiser Monte Carlo range with the new 42 model launched during the Paris Nautic show the past December. The new 42 Monte Carlo is also the biggest in the range to make use of the patented Beneteau Powerboat Air Step hull, designed by Patrick Tableau, Maud Tronquez, and Remi Laval-Jeantet. As all the other Monte Carlo's the 42 has lines designed by Italian Andreani. The new 42 Monte Carlo sits perfectly in the range between the 2009 presented 47 and smaller 37 model. Spacious and surprising in the 42 Monte Carlo Hardtop is the lower deck with a full beam owners suite which competes with that of bigger boats. Further accommodation below is the double guest cabin to fore, C-shaped saloon which converts to another additional twin berth, and L-shaped galley. Power is from twin Volvo 370hp with propulsion being stern drives who deliver good efficiency, and now also easy manoeuvring thanks to the recently introduced optional joystick control.
