During the recent Miami boat show Cabo has presented a redesigned interior for the 40 Flybridge model. Cabo’s designers have improved this most popular Sportfish Cruiser flybridge model with added interior comfort and design appeal. Cabo retained the beautifully finished teak used in the 40 Flybridge cabinet doors, then expanded its use and coverage to the cabinet frames, storage lockers, and bulkheads for a more inviting environment. Cabo also introduced several new decor packages for customers to choose from, adding wall coverings and padded panel options instead of bare gel coat in the living spaces. The two cabin two heads interior of the refreshed 40 Flybridge represent an evolutionary change for one of Cabo's best sellers, providing a new level of thoughtful attention. The interior design below deck in a Cabo equals the detail which has always gone into the cockpit, helm deck and wiring which is considered an industry standard. While the new 40 Flybridge interiors are definitely more luxurious, the fit and finish is designed to retain the low maintenance approach of the traditional utilitarian interiors they replace. Also a new option for the 40 Flybridge is the availability of ZF Zeus pod propulsion with twin 600hp Cummins option. This choice follows what was seen on the 40 Express, Cabo's first pod drive boat which shares the same Micheal Peter's hull with the 40 Flybridge. For those still in doubt of new technology Cabo still offers three engine choices with the traditional line shaft propulsion from 715hp Cats, up to 800hp MANs. March 25, 2010

Project: Mano 32 Gran Sport
Mano presents the project of the 32 Gran Sport. This latest Mano medium sized project reflects recent trends as shown by other Italian builders to present a Sport Cruiser design joined with that of a centre console open boat. So far the South Italian Mano has forwarded little details of this project, but with this rendering we can imagine that the 32 Gran Sport will be a full walk around for half of its length and having a full sun worshipper raised deck to fore. The port windows also suggest the use of over half of the length for accommodation below deck, which also is a big indication to tell us that the engines are located to aft with a high possibility of having stern drive engines, as is the normality in this size for European boat builders. New Launch: ISA Yachts 630
ISA Yachts is nearing completion its 630, its biggest project and build to date. Her exterior styling is by Andrea Vallicelli responsible for most of the ISA Yachts line including the successful 120 Composite series, who worked in close collaboration with International Shipyard Ancona Technical Department. The yacht’s interiors have a Key West-style with finishes in bamboo and natural materials, designed by Patrick Knowles. The 630 yacht was commissioned in September 2007 and the two and a half year construction has involved no less than 310 direct and indirect staff members. Project: C.Boat 23-82
After launching its first 27-82 Classic model C.Boat moves ahead by presenting new projects which aim to enrich is range of modern looking steel build motor and super yachts. The second project from C.Boat is the 23-82, which is four meters smaller to the 27 metres launched Super Yacht in 2009, and is also the entry level project of the range. C.Boat 23-82 is a 24 metre over all motor yacht designed by Mauro Corvesieri, and Salvo Parigi responsible for the interior. The concept for the 23-82 follows that of the larger C.Boat with an 8 mm thick steel construction, a Vee shaped full keel hull, and a very angular bow. This design is ideally suited for displacement speeds which allows for half the power of what the usual planning yachts of this size need. With twin 700hp engines, the C23-82 should give a top speed of 13 knots at light load. Interior the C23-82 has a standard three double cabins plus crew layout. An optional four cabin version which will make minus the tender garage aft is available.
