Web: Outerlimits New Web Site

Outerlimits presents its new World wide web showroom.  Founded in 1993 by Mike Fiore, with help coming from father Paul and mother Joyce, Outerlimits was created to create one of the most desired powerboats, and in order to set new standards in mono hull speed.  This aim was made successful twice, first in 2009 with an SV43 winning the Evolution offshore class championship, and again in 2014 for setting a mono-hull speed record of 180 mph again with an SV-43.  Today Outerlimits builds eleven models, into four series; SV, SL, SC, and SX, with the range starting from the SV-29 to the SL-52.  Outerlimits new website takes you around with the following buttons; Main, About, World Records, Models, Gallery, Service, Gear-Shop, and Contact. Outerlimits is also in social media with a link at the bottom of page taking you to its Facebook, and Instagram pages.

Paul Fiore 1943 - 2019

Paul Fiore, the founder of Hustler Powerboats in New York, which kicked off the stepped V-bottom hull revolution that swept through the high-performance marine industry in the 1980s, died the morning 26th November after a four-week battle with an undisclosed illness. He was 76 years old. Fiore was the father of Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats founder Mike Fiore, who died following an accident in the 2014 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in Central Missouri.  Though Fiore often described himself as retired from the boat building world, he regularly consulted with the Outerlimits crews.  Fiore is survived by his wife, Diane, and daughter, Donna, who works at Outerlimits; his former wife; Joyce, the mother of Mike and Donna; and grandchildren Nicole, Sophia, Jet and Moxie.

Micheal Fiore 1970 - 2014

A boating accident Saturday during the Shootout competition has taken the life of Michael Fiore, 44, who died the Tuesday evening of 26 August at University Hospital in Columbia after developing complications from surgery. Fiore was the throttle-man in the 42-foot catamaran Outerlimits that flipped multiple times during a run down the mile-long course about 10:30 a.m. Saturday near Captain Ron’s. He was owner of the Bristol, R.I.-based Outerlimits Offshore Powerboat Company.  Fiore and Joel Begin, the boat’s driver, were extricated from the badly damaged boat by emergency crews. Fiore was airlifted to Columbia, and Begin was taken by Lake Regional Hospital and later released.  Initial reports listed Fiore as in critical but responsive condition after the accident.  A report from the Missouri Highway Patrol after the accident says the crash was caused when the boat lost control at high speeds due to wind interference.  Frank Sciacca, general counsel of Outerlimits, released a statement saying the entire Outerlimits family is devastated by the loss of its friend and leader of the company. Fiore founded Outerlimits in 1993.
