Nor-Tech presents its hull number 2 of the 80 Super Performance Sport Yacht flagship presented in 2008. This second version commissioned by a long time customer in Sarasota shows Nor-Tech very custom approach in its flagship model. This second hull is a variation of the first 80 offering an open cockpit layout giving the look and feel of a true performance boat and less of a traditional yacht. A new cabin floor plan has also been incorporated below decks. Without the roof and heavy yacht decor materials this second version will come in lighter. This time the boat will also be powered by bigger Cat engines producing 1850hp each versus the 1635hp of hull one. With less weight because of the open format and more power Nor Tech is expecting a top speed in the mid 50 knots range for hull number two of the 80 Super Performance Sport Yacht. March 6, 2010

New Model: Abacus 86
After being announced since 2006, and project renderings shown in 2008 Sicilian yacht builder Abacus presents its new 86 flagship model. Designed as all the range by Fulvio de Simoni, the Abacus 86 from the Sicilian builder located in Messina, enters the Super Yacht category by going above the 24 metres size. But please note owners operators that the Abacus 86 does have a waterline length of just under 24 metres, meaning it can still be driven by those in possession of a yacht master licence. Hull number one different to the renderings displayed a hard top on the flybridge, with a forward looking radar arch. The Abacus 86 offers a spacious four cabin layout with owners suite to mid ship, VIP to fore, and two guest cabins in between. Crew quarters with lobby and three berths is located to fore. Abacus also used the 86 to improve its construction standard, building the new flagship with infusion resin method by DIAB, and using the Besenzoni Sipario windows in the owners stateroom. BOAT OF THE SHOW NOMINATION FOR 370 SPORTS TOP
In Helsinki boat show the Nord West 370 Sports Top was nominated for boat of the show. It is very exciting and most rewarding that this new model has received recognition on all the Scandinavian and International markets since presented in early 2009. With the sales result that the Nord West 370 Sports Top has had in 2009 and now 2010 season, it is no wonder that recognitions keep coming in.

With many years of experience from the Hotel and Conference trade and also as self employed, Patricia started at Nord West already in the the year 2006. Throughout the first years Patricia was responsible for primarily marketing and a helping hand at the many boat shows. New Model: Portofino 11 Fisherman
Italian boat builder Portofino continues to present variations to its 11 line series, presenting the new Fisherman model. The Portofino 11 was presented in 2008 with the Fly version, a year later was the turn for a Coupe model, and now in 2010 is next for the new Fisherman. Similar to its sisters in everything concerning the hull from shape to the IPS propulsion, and in the lower deck accommodation for four, the new Fisherman looks different when you see its topsides thanks to the lets go fishing Tuna tower. Apart from a second helm station the tower gives better visibility for locating the prey, outriggers, and extra places where to put your lines.
