Like all Riva masterpieces in the brand’s recent history, the 54 Metri is a design of Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta who designed all Riva onwards from 1992, with the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Group Engineering Department doing the technical side of the project. Riva 54 Metri will welcome guests into generous outdoor spaces covering almost 370 square meters, with a beach area that promises the thrill of close contact with the water in a relaxed and private setting. Another highpoint will be the impressive wellness area, containing a gym, a spa and a stunning pool. With her majestic size and an all-aluminium hull that keeps weight to a minimum, 54 Metri will be the largest Riva ever built and will reach a top speed of eighteen knots. The sale was concluded in partnership with Alain Maaraoui, the founder and chairman of Riva’s exclusive dealer in Kuwait, Sea Pros Yachts, who played a key role in drawing up the agreement and will continue to work with the customer from construction through to delivery planned for 2025. Work on the 54 Metri is currently underway at the Riva Superyachts Division in Ancona, the state-of-the-art shipyard occupying almost 80,000 square meters where all yachts from 50 to 90 meters are built. Project: Heesen 50-metre Steel

Heesen is delighted to announce that the Harrison Eidsgaard studio has been chosen to design its eagerly anticipated 50-metre Steel series. This Eidsgaard Heesen is the second collaboration following that from the 2017 51 meter hull number YN 18151 which was fully custom but based on the 5000 Aluminium Class.  At 50 metres and 499 GT, this new series will feature a Fast Displacement steel hull of great seaworthiness for optimal comfort in all sea conditions. Like all Heesen yachts, the new design will also be available with Heesen’s hybrid technology for intelligent power management and a silent cruise capability. The layout will emphasise the connection of the outdoors to the interior, providing plenty of natural light and fresh air from sliding windows in the main saloon on the main deck. The design will also feature separate crew routing for discreet and efficient service, while with tenders and toys conveniently stored on the main deck forward, guests can enjoy the split-level aft deck terrace, overlooking an infinity pool and a large, fixed swimming platform. Six staterooms will accommodate twelve guests. Heesen’s Marketing Director, Mark van Heffen, worked closely with the engineering and production teams to create a detailed brief, which was not only based on experience gained from previous series but also took into account a thorough analysis of the market. The result is a 50-metre series concept that splices Harrison Eidsgaard’s creative flair with Heesen’s industrial DNA, fitting perfectly into the shipyard’s future commercial strategy. Heesen engineers and the Harrison Eidsgaard team will work together on translating this design into a perfectly engineered superyacht. Construction is scheduled to commence in Summer 2024.

New Model: Baglietto T52

The first model in the successful T52 line has finally hit the water: hull No. 10238 was launched during a private ceremony.  The first T52 launched is fitted with a hybrid propulsion system that will allow to choose a more efficient cruising mode, reducing both consumption and environmental impact. When cruising in electrical diesel mode, the T52 can indeed reach a range of up to 7,600 nm, and remain at anchor up to ten hours relying on the batteries only.  Her two MTU engines, however, will also allow her to reach quite an impressive maximum speed of seventeen knots and a range of 3,600 nm in traditional navigation mode.  The lines by Francesco Paszkowski reinterpret the classical design elements of Baglietto’s traditional steel displacement yachts under 500 GT in a highly contemporary, distinctive style and conveying a very strong personality, the same found across the interiors, also designed by Francesco Paszkowski in cooperation with Margherita Casprini.  Just like her seven sisterships currently in build, the first T52, too, has truly unique features that perfectly meet today’s market demands.  Close contact with the sea is ensured by the original open stern featuring a beach club that develops over three levels and has already become a hallmark of Baglietto’s new course.  The large pool can easily be concealed thanks to an ingenious up-down movable floor that further extends the available deck surface when the pool is not being used.  On the upper deck, the wide floor-to-ceiling windows opening on three sides create a pleasant “al fresco” lounge, with a conversation area and a dining area to be enjoyed in all weather conditions.  The approximately 24-metre-long sundeck, another distinguishing feature on Baglietto T52 is unmatched on a super yacht of this size and volume, and follows in the wake of Baglietto’s traditional displacement yachts.

New Launch: Van Der Valk 33.00m Hull no. WV0133

Van der Valk delivered the Raised Pilothouse 33-metre Blue Jeans to her owners at the end of 2022, its second in size model and flagship of the RP range as introduced in 2014 and so far launched in six units. After handover at the Van der Valk shipyard in the Netherlands, this custom build Raised Pilothouse 33 meters superyacht has cruised through Belgium, France and the UK to London. Designed by Guido de Groot the exterior style is closely aligned with the request for high ceilings in the interior, which rise to almost 2.5 metres in the lounge. The yacht’s sleek profile features lots of exterior glass, including for the bulwarks. Her blue hull paint was developed with Alexseal while de Groot used colours, surfaces and lights to remove any hint of white. Al fresco highlights include balconies both sides of the main deck and a retractable dive board on the flybridge. The anchor windlasses are hidden within the raised bow to free up room on the foredeck for a recessed chill-out zone with pop-up table. This cool feature typifies the detailed design and engineering which went into this project. The interior features an intricate fusion of Northern European and Asian styles, some remarkable lighting displays and a wide variety of materials. These include liquid metal walls, copper accents and reconstituted teak in small wooden trims on the walls and ceilings. The master stateroom features rare Lapis Lazuli Blue marble while other fine stones include Nero Marquina and Fior di Bosco in the dining area and White Carrara in the saloon. The overall layout entirely reflects the owner’s preferences for everyday use within a multifunctional, multigenerational concept. Blue Jeans is ideal for large groups on day trips and the kind of extended stays onboard involved in her maiden voyage. Blue Jeans carries a fully-custom bare aluminium tender placed sideways in her own large garage. This set-up generated space for a large engine room with twin MTU 2600hp which give a top speed up to 28 knots.

Project: Ocea Commuter 33

Ocea present the project for the Commuter 33, which at 33 metres is the smallest of the Commuter family of yachts, which features two other larger 40 and 50 meter models.  Designing a transoceanic super yacht based on commuter boats designed for short trips on a river was no easy feat! The New York commuters in use at the beginning of the 20th century only crossed the East River, not the Pacific Ocean. However, one of the very first Ocea Commuters, Abely Wheeler, a 32.50-metre boat completed in 2004, has travelled around the world.  The Ocea Commuter 33 is designed in house and will offer a four double cabins arrangement below decks, while crew accommodation is for four persons. The Ocea Commuter is estimated to reach speeds up to eighteen knots, with a fast cruise of fourteen, and a long range of four thousand nautical miles possible at ten knots.

New Model: Azimut Grande 36M

Just a year later to the launch of the largest ever Azimut, the 38 meter Trideck flagship which has so far sold in eighteen units and deliveries going into 2026 the famous Italian name launch a two meter smaller Grande 36M, which is also a replacement to the 2017 launched Grande 35M produced till 2021 in nineteen hulls.  With only two meters smaller to the big Trideck the Grande 36M is a different second in size model, with designer Alberto Mancini giving sleeker lines, also because unlike the flagship she is a two deck with raised pilot house design.  It is interesting how the Grande 36M though looks sleek and sporty, thanks to the clever deck integration by Alberto Mancini, doing all this without losing space.  This is also happening also for the extensive use of carbon fibre for the super structure, which is part of a triumvirate high technology features going into the Grande 36M. The other two being its low emissions D2P displacent2planning hull shape by Pierluigi Ausonio and Azimut research and design which reduces fuel consumption by up to 30%, and an innovative air exchange treatment system that continually refreshes and treats the interior environments.  The Azimut Grande 36M offers two interior layouts, with this being about a private dining area on the top deck behind the pilot station or in the lower deck.  The cabin  arrangement is identical in both versions with a five double cabins layout including which is a master stateroom on the forward wide body part of the main deck.  The Azimut Grande 36M is powered by twin MTU 2200hp as standard or optional 2400hp engines with these giving top speeds up to 24 knots.  Azimut has so far sold eight hulls of the Grande 36M with deliveries going into 2025, with the yacht making its first appearance at the Cannes and Genoa fall 2022 boat shows.

Project: Pearl 82

Pearl present the project for a new 82 model, a replacement for the 80 which launched in 2017 and marked the brands entry into 24 meters plus super yachts and sold over ten units in five year production run.  The Pearl 82 is a completely new design which also features a wider hull and a raised pilot house.  Designed by the usual Pearl team of Bill Dixon for exterior and Kelly Hoppen for the décor, the 82 thanks to the raised pilot house will feature a forward full body main deck which fits an owners stateroom.  Thanks to this the lower deck features four cabins giving the Pearl 82 a five cabins at just 25 meters of length.  The Pearl 82 may be outfitted with either of two aft deck arrangements; Riviera or Veranda to match different owners’ lifestyles right on the sea. The Riviera layout places aft facing sun pads behind the table and sofa setup, out under the sun, while the Veranda layout offers versatility with the possibility to pivot the seating between picnic and private patio orientations, always keeping the sea in sight.  Regardless of the owner’s choice, the bulwarks can fold down like wings, expanding and opening the cockpit to the environment. Project: Ferretti InFYnito 90

Announced in 2022 Ferretti shows the details of the first InFYnito project, a super yacht of just under 26 meters in length over all set to debut later on in this 2023 year.  Its the third in Ferretti's history that the name deviates from its traditional flybridge line, the first was in early nineties with the HP high performance line which only featured one 48 model, the second was with the Altura aft cabin yacht presented in 2005 with the 690 and then added with an 840 in 2008.  Ferretti InFYnito is all about extending life on board, an explorer inspired superyacht where the dialogue between interior and exterior gives a feeling of total fulfilment. The new range, which contains the brand’s initials FY in its name, introduces a style that gives shape to owners new needs: seamless contact with the surrounding environment, more sustainable materials and navigation, custom detailing, and a direct link with the sea and the sky. The key innovation is visual continuity between interiors and exteriors, connecting the yacht to the horizon as never before. This is how the experience becomes infinite: with no more limits and boundaries, the view sweeps far and wide and navigation is more authentic and personal. The understated design is clean and balanced, expressing a more natural and sustainable approach to cruising increasingly embraced by owners. Ferretti Yachts InFYnito is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior design and hulls are by Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are the work of Ideaeitalia. The first model in the new range to debut in 2023 is Ferretti Yachts InFYnito 90. With a length of just under 27 metres and hull length under 24 metres and therefore classified as a recreational craft with CE certification.  A maximum beam of seven meters, the yacht is designed to give cruising enthusiasts an incomparable new experience. The outdoor and indoor settings blend into one another in an unparalleled continuum, creating spaces that can be customized and are more generous than the standard in the category. With over 100 square metres of open-air living spaces which is about double to the segment average and over 140 square metres of interiors over 25% to the usal, including a main deck and a sky-lounge featuring particularly impressive volumes, the new Ferretti Yachts InFYnito 90 is a clear stand-out in the market. Owners can also choose between different layouts for each deck, ranging from open-plan spaces to more formal settings reserved for day and night time privacy, offering an experience that can be fully customized according to personal needs. Ferretti InFYnito 90 is fitted with standard twin Man 1550hp and or optional 1800hp engines.  The larger engines give the InFYnito 90 a top speed of 22 knots and a cruise of seventeen, while a range of 1,200 nautical miles is possible at an economy cruising speed of twelve knots. Ferretti Yachts InFYnito is a range inspired by explorer vessels, boats designed for long voyages and to welcome guests in total comfort, giving the owner that “just like home” feeling in the intimacy, safety and relaxing atmosphere of a space that embodies this concept. The new range will also introduce F.S.E.A. Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture to the industry, a package of environmentally friendly cruising solutions. They include a solar roof that generates electricity and charges a lithium battery pack to power onboard services. This technology lets the owner and guests enjoy the yacht in hotel mode, creating an atmosphere of total relaxation with zero emissions everywhere on board. The choice of greener materials is also significant: ecological paints, sustainable teak, recyclable fabrics and leathers. The new range will also feature a brand new generation of ultra-high efficiency hulls, offering unprecedented levels of comfort at low speeds and fast displacement performance over twenty knots. The cruising range values are also unprecedented, allowing the owner to reach faraway destinations in total comfort and relaxation. Another key point of the new range is the development of the Main Deck, where the view sweeps seamlessly from interior to exterior and from bow to stern. The design of this space is one of the Ferretti InFYnito’s most distinctive and iconic features, offering a ground-breaking all season terrace that apart being spectacular is inviting, atmospheric, hidden from prying eyes at the quayside and functional at sea in all weather conditions.

The spacious outdoor areas from the two sizeable lounges with sunbathing area and spa pool, one on the Sun Deck and one on the Main Deck, to the ample al fresco dining area on the Upper Deck and the superb leisure and wellness zone at the beach club are conceived as versatile convivial spaces for enjoying the open-air living to the full. Fluid flexibility is the order of the day in the generous indoor areas too, like the luminous Main and Upper Deck saloons, which become versatile living spaces for relaxation and fun. CRN 52 meter hull #142 is powered by twin Cats 1622hp engines which give a top speed up to eighteen knots and a cruise of twelve.

Project: Baglietto T60

On 22 December Baglietto announced it secured the first order for the 60 meter super yacht T60 hull no. 10260. This sale followed the eight T52 order by just three days. The project of the T60 designed by Francesco Paszkowski was presented at 2022 Monaco Yacht show in September, and is to be the largest yacht ever build by the famous Baglietto. Currently it is also the largest offer in size at sixty metres long and weighing around 1,000 GT, the T60 is the natural evolution of the T52: the soft exterior lines have become even sleeker thanks to the lighter side buttresses that almost seem to be “hanging” on the water, blending in with the outer ceiling, while the black glass stripe incorporates the portholes a leit-motiv on Baglietto’s most recent yachts resulting in an even more streamlined profile. The layout is truly unprecedented with no enclosed spaces on this yacht; the floor-to-ceiling windows of both the main saloon and the upper deck open up completely and, once fully concealed, create highly versatile and interior environments that change constantly to harmonise with the surrounding landscape. The same informal areas that during the day allow to spend time outdoors and enjoy the sea to the fullest are easily converted to take on a more formal and stately ambience in the evening, while always maintaining a direct contact with the sea. On this innovative vessel, the beach area, the main saloon and the dining area are indeed conceived as one single free-flowing space: a 60 sqm beach lounge with a pool, a conversation area and a gym welcomes guests on board and leads them to the saloon, which can be opened up completely thanks to an elegant staircase, resulting in an almost 100 sqm space on two levels. The dining room, in turn, is fitted with a glazed surface that can be fully opened to create an extraordinary living area on the water, where guests can indulge both during the day and in the evening. The first T60 stands out in particular for her very original configuration, with the upper deck turned into a fully walkable Owners deck. The master stateroom is accessed from a lobby located amidships that also features a glass lift. The suite includes an office, a walk-in wardrobe, and a large bathroom with separate toilets; the night area has glazed surfaces that slide open to offer private access to an outdoor pool located forward. Windows that open entirely on 3 sides can also be found aft, where the lounge area opens onto the en plein air dining table, once more creating the smooth, seamless connection between interiors and exteriors that characterises the entire vessel. A hot tub and a sunbathing area complete this deck’s layout. Guests will find accommodation in four; two VIP and two guest cabins located on the main deck and a fifth guest cabin on the lower deck. This lower deck also hosts a massage room, the spacious galley fully equipped for haute cuisine and the crew quarters, including the crew mess, the dinette, and seven crew cabins sleeping thirteen. The entire under-lower deck houses the various technical areas: the storage room, wine cellar, baggage compartment, and cold rooms. The wheelhouse has been moved to the sun deck, where the captain’s cabin can also be found, as well as an additional dining area and the aft and forward sunbathing areas. The garage, which can fit a six meter tender, 2 jet skis and a rescue tender, has been arranged forward on the main deck, while a haute-cuisine kitchen can be found amidships. At the bow, it is certainly no surprise to find a touch-and-go helipad. The Baglietto T60 is to be equipped with two Cat engines that will push her to a maximum speed of sixteen knots and a cruise of twelve.

New Launch: Admiral 74.85 m

In 2022 Admiral launched the 74 meter super yacht its largest build to date, which overcomes by just one meter the 2018 launched Planet Nine. Title m/y Kensho this fully custom Admiral 74 meter came into life from an owners expression who sketched twelve lines of design in Winter 2016 and then directly oversaw the project in every detail, redefining the boundaries of space, integrating ideas of residential and marine design, creating a union of form and function. The owner’s intuition has also been able to unite a strong team made up of naval architects and designers; Azure from the Netherlands and German firm Archineers.Berlin for the exterior, Jouin Manku for interior, and the technical part followed by Technical Marine UK and Trappmann Consulting. The idea on the largest Admiral build was to forget about the traditional layouts, with state-of-the-art features such as a single crew corridor and gangways only on the upper deck and optimizing the volume for luxury guest areas. Full height glass and lowered bulwarks where used wherever possible while all outside decks with their own specific functionalities make this fully custom 74 meter Admiral complete and efficient, and comfortable. Azure and Archineers.Berlin redefined outside looks, fusing aesthetics and technical feasibility, designing an exciting exterior schema that pushes the edges of elegance and soft lines embracing the purest forms of functionality. No exterior item has been compromised to make room for the technical outfitting of the yacht creating an unparalleled organic shape that comes from an unexplored underwater world. The exterior of this Admiral 74 meter was followed in the sixteen guest cabin interior with the experience and the youthful enthusiasm of fresh eyed newcomers, posing fundamental questions that challenge naval tradition, synthesising superior solutions from residential and naval architecture to trace new lines for quality living at sea. Generous high ceilings, panoramic views, intelligent and modular configurations that adapt to enhance space, intimacy and comfort. The lighting, curated by Voyons Voir Lighting Design, recreates a soft environment recalling the lighthouse that gave hope to the navigators of the past at sea. Noble materials are artfully transformed into rounded and organic forms. Teak, marble, onyx, silk, wool, bronze and glass a diverse material palette deployed in a deeply personal and poetic expression of design. From her exterior hardscape to her soft touch interior, the narrative is coherent, seamless and contemporary; each element orchestrated by the agency.
