Damen Yachting presents its new Yacht Support 53, a semi custom series which has already been delivered in three units.  The first Damen Yacht Support 53 launched in mid 2024 was delivered to Bad Company, a new flagship to the fleet of the World largest private sportfishing program, which currently includes eleven boats and yachts upwards of nine meters.  The YS53's expansive exterior deck is designed for action and boundless versatility. From launching tenders and hosting events to supporting scientific discoveries, this large aft platform adapts to your every need.  The YS53 is equipped with a powerful 15-tonne crane and an optional A-frame, providing exceptional lifting capacity for even the heaviest and most delicate loads; from launching tenders, submersibles, or specialised vehicles, these heavy-duty tools ensure precise handling.  The expansive 310 square meters deck space, spread across the Main and Bridge Decks, offers unparalleled versatility.  This area on the Yacht Support is also customable coming as a blank canvas to suit an owner with his vision, whether it is specialized vehicles, tools, machinery, or even entire hangars and laboratories. The YS53's interior offers practical and adaptable layouts, with select configurations to perfectly suit an owners requirements; from space for guests, additional crew, or specialised staff, the cabin can be specified to accommodate six to sixteen guests, and or six to sixteen crew including the Captain and depending on the chosen layout.  The Damen Yacht Support 53 goes beyond functionality, as it is also the first sub-75-meter Yacht Support to completely rethink interior comfort. From the carefully positioned windows to the advanced climate control systems, every detail is designed for onboard well-being.  The Damen Yacht Support 53 is also about speed, efficiency, and adaptability and powered by twin MTU 3003hp reaches speeds up to nineteen knots, and cruise for five thousand nautical miles at twelve knots.

New Launch: Damen SeaXplorer 58

A milestone moment in Antalya, when Damen's new SeaXplorer 58 yacht emerged from the shed and was lowered into the water. The yacht will now undergo her final build phase in preparation for delivery to her Owner in the coming months. A custom yacht, the SeaXplorer 58 has been developed with considerable input from her Owner, making her perfectly prepared to offer the combination of indoor-outdoor living in which he can enjoy adventures with friends and family around the world. Together with Design Unlimited, the Owner has created a personal and alluring interior in keeping with the SeaXplorer’s spirit of exploring the corners of the globe. The SeaXplorer 58 features accommodation for a crew of fifteen as well as two expedition staff. Six luxury suites provide accommodation for up to twelve guests. To facilitate exploration, the yacht features a wide range of toys, such as two multi-role tenders, motorcycles, vehicles for both road and off-road use and a custom 11.4 metre sailboat. When not exploring unchartered territories, guests can unwind in the cabana-style bar and lounge, featuring an infinity-edged pool, located beneath the SeaXplorer’s certified helideck. On the Bridge Deck, in addition to the Jacuzzi, the sky lounge and dining area provide the perfect connection to the world outside. The yacht also features the SeaXplorer signature bow point observation lounge, giving unrivalled views of some of the most beautiful and unspoiled locations on earth. With her ice class hull and 30 days’ ocean-going autonomy, the yacht can safely sail to the most extreme and sensitive environments on the planet. New Model: Damen 62 meter SeaXplorer

On 31 October the first Damen SeaXplorer luxury expedition yacht emerged from its building hall in the Netherlands. When the 62-metre custom-designed yacht is handed over to her owners in early 2020, she will be the first delivery from Damen SeaXplorer range.  The 62-metre SeaXplorer is a customised design with naval architecture completed by Damen’s inhouse design team and exterior lines by Azure Yacht Design. The owners selected Carlo Torre of Monaco Yacht Temptation to create the interior design and the Fraser technical team to supervise the build. The Polar Class yacht has expedition facilities for thirty days of autonomy, a fully certified helideck and helicopter hangar, plus two large tender garages and a dive store. The power generation consists of a Siemens BlueDrive system with three variable speed generator sets and DC bus. In combination with electrical propulsion motors and a battery pack, the yacht has an economical and environmentally friendly configuration.  Outfitting of the Damen SeaXplorer yacht took place at the Vlissingen East yard, located just a few kilometers from the Vlissingen City yard where Amels yachts are completed.  The Damen SeaXplorer range was introduced in 2015, a crossover innovation created by a top team of experts including the SeaXplorer design team, the Damen Research Laboratory, Azure Yacht Design and EYOS Expeditions, who provided hundreds of operational design features based on their real-world expedition experience.
