Project: Sessa FX5

Sessa present this project, code named FX5 to what so far seems to be a project dedicated for the Brazilian market, and requested by the South American dealership. Is not this a lost occasion to what really looks a World boat, and a replacement to the long standing Fly 54 updated recently but produced since 2009. Designed by Davide Cipriani design firm and the Lombardy boat builder, the pair with the FX5 have designed a model created to satisfy the specific needs of a growing Brazilian American market, the main characteristics of this new flybridge yacht fitted with Volvo Penta engines are maximum live-ability and comfort, natural light and open spaces created for a convivial lifestyle.  Beauty, attention to detail, style and cutting-edge technology are the key drivers of this project, which should launch in around 2020. Designed specifically with Brazilians in mind, the layout features three cabins plus the crew cabin, sleeping a total of seven. The day zone is dominated by a vast living room with huge windows that offer some striking views. The coatings and finishes are those typically found on Sessa yachts, with their reputation for quality. The excellent distribution of space on board is designed to offer maximum comfort and unparalleled opportunities to socialize: the living room, for example, has enough sofas and armchairs to seat twelve people, while the Flybridge with its carbon fiber T-Top is furnished as an open air living room, offering an L-shaped sofa, a low table, a cabinet, a sink and a grill or, optionally, a cooking top, as well as a solarium area around the helm station. The exterior spaces are both spacious and welcoming, reflecting how Brazilian owners typically use their boats, with various cooking units and classic sun lounging areas allowing the outdoor areas to be exploited to the full throughout the day. The main materials used for the interiors are nubuck, mirrored surfaces, lacquer and a mixture of grey oak wood varieties.  The engines will be two Volvo with IPS pod drive propulsion with a possiblity to fit the FX5 also hybrid engine currently being in the works.

Improve-it = Sessa C38

For 2018 Sessa is taking the challenge to the market by renovating some of its most popular models to latest style generation.  The first to make such an update is the C38 which when launched in 2009 was one of Sessa's most successful models, and in its size also one with the best layout and design.  Customers wanted a stylish low profile hardtop in an eleven meter sport cruiser with a single level main deck, and they got both.  For 2018 the Sessa C38 keeps its main attributes of design and style but adds full view large hull windows to cater for more natural light and views on the lower cabin deck.  For the remaining this new generation Sessa C38 keeps the practical design; featuring two cabins, an L-shaped galley, and L-shaped saloon making it a popular practical sport cruiser in its size.  Power for the Sessa C38 comes from twin Volvo 300hp engines which give a top speed of 36 knots.

Project: Sessa 64 Explorer

Sessa present the project for a new Explorer 64, to a design by Davide Cipriani of Centrostiledesign.  At the root of this concept entirely conceived and designed by Davide Cipriani's team is a new way of experience the sea, by seizing all of its beauty at any moment of the day. The design of the roomy and spacious interiors goes in this direction. The main deck of the 64 Explorer is reserved for a large salon, galley and helm station, while the lower deck is the sleeping accommodation area, with a double full beam owners stateroom with private access, and a guests and VIP suites both with their own bathrooms.  These areas bask in natural light coming from the outside through large continuous windows on the hull and the side glass wall of the main salon that exploits the concept of “through house” to establish a continuous relationship between interiors and exterior scenarios. In the same way the goal of the definitely high level furnishings project is to recreate the comfort and intimacy of a home, in addition to giving the owner the possibility to personalize his living space. Comfort and a welcoming atmosphere are the guidelines for the exteriors project as well. The 80 sq.m terrace and two decks are dedicated to guests and are ideal for relaxing at any time.  The Explorer 64 project combines the beauty of a larger yacht with functionality by adopting innovative ergonomic solutions such as the design of the bow.  Straight lines contrast with a soft and capacious aft, the result of scrupulous calculations made during the design step. What emerges is a yacht able to part the waves and disperse their energy, in this way ensuring safe, comfortable and low-cost navigation in any condition, even with a moderate sea. Its large tanks of 4500 liters and spacious material storage area also give the yacht a range of over 3000 miles.  The partnership between Centrostiledesign and Sessa carries on after the prior project of the Fly 21 Gullwing presented in the fall of 2016.

Project: Sessa 21 Fly

It is always interesting to see how a boat builder will preform when a change happens for a long standing designer.  This is part of the story for the new Sessa 21 Fly which after an important time with Christian Grande taking care of design head into the new with Davide Cipriani Centrostile team.  A name which has expanded not little in recent years, Centrostiledesign have worked with some important Italian names as Carnevali, Sanlorenzo, and Riva here bringing the important open hard-top evolution on the 88 Florida model.  The Sessa 21 Fly seems based on the C68 for its hull lines with a completely new super structure with flybridge.  Interesting details seem also to be the rule on the 21 Fly which will feature an unedited opening system for the interior salon to the sides, and also an interesting very soft on the lines flybridge hard top.

Project: Sessa 68 Sport Fly

Sessa presents the project of a new flagship the 68 Sport Fly which re-edits the C68 by adding a sports flybridge up top.  As its custom with many sport yachts of this size who add this feature, the flybridge is of a very invisible nature from the outside lines. Access to the flybridge of the 68 Sport Fly will be from an integrated stainless steel stair case located to starboard.  The flybridge layout offers a central sun-pad, two chaise lounges on both sides, and central helm.  Below the 68 Sport Fly keeps the layout which have made the C68 a market success thanks to a choice of three or four cabins, with galley being down or up in the later plan.  Worth to note that on the technical department the Sessa 68 flagship, and featuring a hull shape designed by Arnaboldi,  who tested the hull shape in the St. Petersburg shipbuilding institute, the largest test pool in Europe.  Engines choices for the new Sessa are twin Volvo 900hp with IPS pods, or MAN 1360hp featuring traditional line shafts. Project: Sessa 24 Key Largo IB

One year after the launch of the Key Largo 34 and 27 IB, Sessa boosts more its Open line, introducing the stern drive version of the 24.  This new small Sessa 24 Key Largo IB, strongly expresses the effort and the will of the North Italian factory to strengthen the open range segment, offering the market a small boat characterized by large spaces, created for those who want to enjoy every comfort without sacrificing design.  The squared-off bow together with the aggressive lines of the cockpit area, designed by Christian Grande, Sessa Marine Group designer for many years, remind those sophisticated and typical drawings of sports cars. Versatility is a factor in any yacht but more so in small sizes.  The 24 Key Largo offers loads of it starting from the aft settee which can become a huge sunpad, a big folding bimini, and a cabin with bar unit able to accommodate a forty liters fridge, and a vacuum flush toilet on request.  Power will be from a single Volvo petrol gas engine of 260hp with stern drive propulsion and top speeds of 40 knots.
