During the 2025 Miami boat show Eclipse Yachts debuted its first 505 Shadow model. Eclipse Yachts is a new name with long coming bases, commissioned by HMY Yachts and build by Two Oceans Marine from Cape Town South Africa. Founded in November 1979 by Steve Mohiyan HMY Yachts is one of the largest medium to large size yachts brokerage firms on the US East Coast, while Two Oceans from South Africa was founded by still owner Rob Delany in 1989, specializing mostly in power catamarans. Designed by Michael Peters the Eclipse Yachts 505 Shadow is a down east lobster boat inspired traditional yacht with a two stateroom two heads layout, and a living on the main deck.
