A nine meter Forumla sport boat ended aground in Hutington Bay, New York on the afternoon of Monday thirteen October. Shared on the Boat Buddies Facebook Group, according to reports the Formula boat broke its mooring in the reported storm and ended beached in the bay. The cut line to its bow actually confirms the boat was tied up to something. Some reports say this boat was moored next to its owners house, and was used regularly to commute to Manhattan and surrounding areas. The damage of the boat was not confirmed, with some comments on Facebook reporting it ripped the hull and others saying it did not.
The Formula in this accident is a 292 Fastech as designed by John Adams and produced from 2002 to 2018.
