A classic ten meter Bayliner flybridge cruiser titled Linda T and with no one onboard ended aground near the mouth of the Shrewsbury River off the south end of Gateway National Recreation Area, in Sandy Hook, New Jersey on the morning of Monday 27 January 2025. National Park Service dispatched a law enforcement ranger, who is working with the US Coast Guard to find the ownership. According to news the boat was seen running unmanned and adrift over the weekend, until it ended aground in the weekend.
The flybridge cruiser in this accident is a 1984 Bayliner 3270 Explorer as produced from 1981 to 1984. The 3270 Explorer was soft evolved and replaced by the Bayliner 3870 Motor Yacht, and then again as the 3288 Motor Yacht in 1989, with three thousand hulls being made in total.
