New Model: Princess V50

Princess present the new V50, its third generation model with this name, and an evolution of glazed hull surfaces on the 2018 presented model it replaces, which was an update in length to the 2013 presented V48.  It is more a styling exercise then other really fundamental changes here, with the big hull windows being the main difference to the previous V50.  The layout inside on both main and lower deck is unchanged, offering two cabins; a forward VIP, and a large midships owners room.  The Princess V50 is powered by twin Volvo 440hp or optional 480hp with IPS pod propulsion, these last engines pushing speed up to 32 knots in light load.  I do think that Princess here missed the chance in fitting the larger Volvo 550hp or 600hp engines pushing speeds to around the mid thirties, and more important having a bigger block pushing a fifteen meter sixteen ton plus sports yacht.  The main competition from Fairline and Azimut are both offered with this bigger set up.
