The 39 meters super yacht Safira collided into two catamarans at Safehaven Superyacht Marina to the south of Fort Lauderdale, on the afternoon of Saturday 23 November 2019. The yacht was in return from sea trials, when a malfunction to its throttles caused it to collide into two moored catamarans. Safira was reported to have taken a new captain onboard just ten days ago, with the yacht preparing itself to go to the Antigua Charter Yacht Show the next week.
