Bayliner Cruiser Wrecked by Fire in Alameda California

A not attended eleven meter Bayliner explorer cruiser went ablaze in Marina Village Yacht Harbor in Alameda, California on the night of Tuesday 26 November.  The Bayliner cruiser fire was tended by the Alameda Fire Department, with the boat ultimately wrecked and partly sank.  The following morning a fuel and oil pollution spill report was made, with this spreading all the way to Oakland Estuary, as an investigation was open by California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the US Coast Guard for this environmental damage.  No one was injured from the blaze, with the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Bayliner in this fire is a 3870 Motor Yacht as produced from 1983 to 1989.  At release in 1983 the 3870 Motor Yacht was Bayliner flagship, a feat it will only keep for one year.  The 3870 Motor Yacht evolved with soft modifications into the 3888 Motor Yacht and produced till 1994, selling over a thousand units for both versions.
