Sparkes Marina Fire

On ninth October in the early morning a fire broke out at Sparkes Marina in Hayling Island in the British South coast, close to Portsmouth.  The fire which broke at 06:15 morning sank two boats and left two damaged.  Fire fighters where called immediately on the spot and spent two hours extinguishing the flames.  No person where injured during the incident.  The two sinking boats where a motor cruiser of over nine meters which I was told was an a Aquastar 30, and a sailing boat of six meters.
Sparkes Marina is located in Hayling Island, Hampshire at the Southern tip of the famous Solent cruising grounds and very close to the Isle of Wight.  The Marina offers berthing capaicity for 160 boats.
