New Model: BlueGame BG72

True to its commitment to defy all stereotypes, that has always been BlueGame signature style, the new BG72 is the perfect expression of its cross-over soul, that escapes from belonging to a single segment. With the BG72, BlueGame goes even further by combining the concepts of the BG and BGX ranges; the result is a successful fusion of open and flybridge. The BG72’s remarkable layout, with a completely open upper deck and the original lower deck of the BGX range, is destined to bring lovers of both typologies together, without compromise. The BG72, designed like all Bluegame models by Architect Luca Santella, maintains the engineering chassis of the BGX models with the high-performance hull created in collaboration with the naval architect Lou Codega and the advanced Volvo IPS propulsion system that ensures high performance and low consumption. The BG72 inherits from the BG range the original simplicity of use, easy manoeuvrability, comfort, safety during navigation and offers for the first time on an open yacht a cockpit with 360° visibility characterised by the windscreen with inverted glass and the possibility of total closure which guarantees protection in adverse weather conditions or privacy in the presence of the crew. Once again, Bluegame has benefited from the fruitful collaboration of Zuccon International Project, which has given great personality to both the profile and the interior and exterior spaces.  The outdoor areas are arranged over three levels; the beach area in close contact with the sea, the large living area with sun-lounge/sofa in continuity with the dining area, a spacious bow area equipped and flexible on the main deck and, finally, an easily accessible and enjoyable sundeck.  The interiors can be tailored to the owner’s needs, depending on whether living on the boat in a more convivial or more private way: the saloon with direct access from the platform, as on the BGX, can be replaced by the owner’s cabin, offering stunning views and the opportunity of waking up directly in contact with the sea. The first unit presented at the Cannes and Genoa 2021 boat shows had the owner chose the version with the saloon overlooking the beach area and interiors with very distinctive materials and colors: Canaletto walnut wood combined with leather and fabrics in light and blue tones that convey personality and sophistication.

Project: Mig 45

Mig present the project for a new 45, the first model of a new generation of models.  The Mig 45 is an evolution of the Italian open sport boat which was so popular in the eighties and nineties, with the Italian builder playing an important part in this success with its popular and successful 38 model. Designed by Federico Fiorentino the Mig 45 will be a walk around sport cruise offering an easy to use main exterior deck from fore to aft.  Two opening aft bulkheads will extend the beam by two meters when at anchor, while tender stowage will be in a garage under the central aft sun-pad.  Lower accommodation will be for an open plan sleeping four, with a double island berth forward, and twin berths at midships.  The Mig 45 keeps the tradition of the builder for a deep Vee twenty degrees deadrise performance hull shape.  The Mig 45 is to be powered by twin Volvo 480hp with IPS pod drives, with estimated top speeds up to forty knots, and a cruise of 34.  A HT version with a forward side cover only is also available.

New Launch: Admiral 55.2 m S-Force

Admiral has launched M/Y Geco a 55.2 meter part of the S-Force line from the super yacht builder designed by in-house architect Gian Marco Campanino.  The external areas of the S-Force 55 meter present a perfect harmony characterized by the presence of important sculptural elements such as the bar counter, the sunbathing areas and the stainless steel stairs that connect the different decks.  The upper deck, of extraordinary beauty and functionality, sees the external-internal areas connected by a sliding glass door which eliminates the separation between the upper hall, the external hall and the dining area; the bar area is also designed without interruption between internal and external environments and the continuous dialogue between the spaces is represented by a long counter dedicated to wine tasting and cocktail service.  Another peculiarity of the S-Force 55 meter is the heliport positioned in the front of the yacht which delicately overlooks the shape of the hull and presents a lounge area for unforgettable evenings in the open air. The sun deck features a Jacuzzi tub and an equipped gym area.  The refined and striking interiors reveal a "super glamorous" atmosphere that sees a timeless French allure mixed with more contemporary Italian design. French wooden boiserie, precious Italian marbles, bronzed metal details and leather walls create a decidedly sophisticated environment with an international flavour. The materials, from wengé wood, natural oak and golden Calacatta marble, give a unique feeling of elegance, in perfect balance between exclusive luxury and craftsmanship. The colors were carefully selected, the main elements are neutral nuances interrupted by bronzed metal details and bold tones such as navy blue and cognac orange. In the circular design dining room, a splendid and huge chandelier stands out, a work of art designed to embellish and envelop the environment with an exceptional wavy effect thanks to hundreds of rods of coloured crystals.

Project: Viking 90 Convertible

The Viking 92 was arguably the greatest large sportfishing yacht of all time, with 21 boats delivered in seven years of production. The six-stateroom world-traveler merged convertible performance and fishability with megayacht luxury, proving that a Viking of its size could excel on the tournament circuit while providing the pinnacle of comfort. Driven by its mantra to build a better boat every day, here comes Viking again with another example of excellence in boatbuilding design, engineering and innovation. The legendary New Jersey boatbuilder is proud to announce the all-new Viking 90, a yacht that will redefine the capabilities of the luxury convertible sportfisher and become the new benchmark in the genre. The 90’s profile represents a synthesis of design traits from the 92, 80 and other modern Viking sportfishing yachts, as well as subtle motor yacht influences. Carefully placed feature lines, deckhouse windows and portlights with chamfered edges and Viking’s signature hull-side vents are just of few of the 90’s aesthetic high points. Viking will offer three models of the 90; Open Bridge, Enclosed Bridge and Sky Bridge, all utilizing a spacious six-stateroom accommodation plan highlighted by a full-beam master suite. The Open and Enclosed Bridge 90 can be outfitted with a tuna tower from Palm Beach Towers (PBT), and all three models can be equipped with a custom electronics, communications and entertainment package from Atlantic Marine Electronics (AME). Both Viking subsidiaries, AME and PBT ensure turnkey delivery. The cockpit and dual mezzanine stress a sense of togetherness with a focus aft – where the action is. From the salon, a 40-inch-wide electric-powered single door opens with a touch of a button. The upper mezzanine’s port side is home to an L-shaped aft-facing lounge with available air-conditioned backrest and a teak table. On the starboard side, there’s a versatile cooking and refreshment hub (with an additional aft-facing seat) that can be personalized to the owner’s liking with a grill and icemaker or refrigerator. A large lounge on the lower mezzanine looks upon the cockpit, with its shapely fiberglass module holding storage underneath and tackle drawers on each side. The mezzanine provides centerline engine access to the crew quarters and engine-room, and is also home to an oversized freezer (port) and two refrigerated boxes (starboard). The cockpit measures 224 square feet, with a 203-gallon transom fishbox/live well and a pair of full-length 103-gallon insulated in-deck fishboxes. Access to the Seakeeper 35 is provided by a single powered hatch on centreline, a watertight design introduced with recent Viking 80 demonstrator boats, and the cockpit sole is built with reinforcement for a fighting chair, rocket launcher or table. Viking owners and enthusiasts will be enamoured with the accommodations of the new Viking 90. The combination of interior volume, a flowing open layout and several design nuances create a fresh soothing ambiance throughout the vast living spaces. Stepping into the salon, a new horizontal grain natural walnut interior greets you with warmth and style. Interior doors featuring both horizontal and vertical grains as well as ebony inlays add to the visual appeal. Guests will appreciate the spacious lounge that begins at the salon door and wraps around the port side. A starboard-side entertainment center features a 65-inch pop-up HD TV. Forward, the large starboard wraparound galley is open to a raised U-shaped dinette to port (with rod storage below). The Viking 90 offers five guest staterooms, each with its own private head and shower, crew quarters with immediate access to the engine-room, a pantry with an additional crew berth and a day head. Spanning the 23-foot, 2-inch beam, the owner’s suite boasts a king walkaround bed, a walk-in closet, a dressing table, a lounge area, a full-size credenza under a bulkhead-mounted 65-inch HD TV and his-and-hers private facilities with separate access. The Viking 90 will make her world premiere at the 2023 Miami Yacht Show.

New Model: Numarine 37 XP

Numarine’s launch its new flagship 37XP model. At 37 meters, she is the largest Numarine yacht ever. Unveiled for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021, the unit #1 has a Hot Lab decoration package featuring a stylish décor from the sophisticated Italian studio. The 37XP has the same beam as the 32XP, yet five extra meters were added forward of the engine room bulkhead adding to the guest and crew accommodation volume as well as the upper deck and sky lounge.  The superyacht sports a full displacement steel hull with a composite superstructure. She’s an impressive 345 GT with a 5000 nautical mile range at ten knots, which is on par with the world’s best expedition super yachts in this class. The 37XP has the appropriate stability, seakeeping, manoeuvrability, and general handling to support offshore and worldwide cruising.  The collaboration behind the design remains the same with the shipyard’s long-time partners; Umberto Tagliavini is responsible for the naval architecture and Can Yalman is in charge of the exterior.  The interior decoration of the first 37XP is by Hot Lab. This is the second Numarine project with the Milan-based studio. Grey, white, beige and brown tones dominate the interior creating a special atmosphere on board. A lot of natural light through huge windows are the key feature for the entire XP Series range. The designers used a number of freestanding furniture from the famous brands, such as Fendi Casa, Promemoria, Giorgetti, and so on.  The super yacht has a spacious interior with several social areas. The main deck saloon and cabins benefit from large windows and are filled with sunlight. The aft beach club features a bathing platform and an inside lounge literally sitting on the water level. Wide outside spaces are another major advantage of the new model.  The wide body flybridge is almost ten metrs long and turns into eighty squared meter space. The 37XP #1 hosts seven guest cabins on board, including the master suite on the main deck located in the bow. In addition, there are a huge VIP cabin amidships on the lower deck and owner’s suite on the upper deck. This space is exciting and has direct connection to the vast outside terrace via a glass door. That terrace, while underway, is used as a tender storage. The 37XP can carry a tender up to nine meters long, and when it’s launched, the area may be used for outside sports or sunbathing or parties.  On the verge of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021, Numarine sold the fourth unit of the 37XP Series. The  37 XP can feature a six cabin layout to accommodate twelve guests and a private skylounge. There are crew accommodations for seven with a captain’s cabin. Improve-it = Sunseeker Manhattan 68

Sunseeker present a new arrangement called Pacific for its popular Manhattan 68 model. Fundamentally about offering versatility to owners, the Pacific arrangement reinvents the space for the twenty meter motor yacht. In a standard configuration, owners benefit from a four cabin, three head layout with the galley set aft at main deck level. In lieu of a fourth cabin and private staircase to the master cabin, the Pacific arrangement offers a double U-shaped seating in the saloon and an exceptional ‘Grand Master’ suite below deck. The generous saloon features social seating to the port and starboard side with a discreet rise and fall TV that can be tucked away when not in use, promoting uninterrupted views out to sea. The dining area has L-shaped seating and a table that effortlessly folds away, freeing up more floor space and again promoting a spacious and welcoming main deck. The master cabin affords owners with flexibility to use their private space however they wish. Upon entering, a new ‘Grand Master’ layout delivers deep comfortable companion seating outboard, positioned opposite an expansive sideboard with stowage. On the portside, adjacent to the king bed, owners can then opt for a chaise longue, breakfast table and seating, vanity table with additional drawers or another comprehensively equipped sideboard. What’s more, the master cabin benefits from its own private bar complete with glass stowage and refrigeration. This exceptional layout strikes a perfect balance between ample social spaces and generous private quarters. The new interior design is matched with a peerless level of comfort and detailing; from recessed feature lighting to chrome highlights and luxurious furnishings, the overall impression is one of immense comfort to anyone stepping on board.

New Model: Absolute 48 Coupe

It's been a while since Absolute made a sport cruiser, and  now the Italian boat builder returns in the segment with the fully enclosed but very open when desired 48 Coupe.  While in the last decade Absolute has been all about its flybridge motor yachts between fifteen to twenty meters, the first decade was all about its sport cruisers especially the first generation 41 and 45 models, which scored sale successes even in the very closed British market.  The Absolute 48 Coupe shares hull with the 47 Fly model with the same lower deck layout of three double cabins, with the master room located forward and looking to starboard.  The main deck of the Absolute 48 Coupe is an astern galley layout, with an open stern just as the new 60 Fly which makes the aft deck become an infinity lounge when desired.  But the tricks of the Absolute 48 Coupe do not stop in the infinity aft deck, and continue with the large electric openable windows on the main deck, and the solar panels on the hard top which generate 2 kw of power.  The Absolute 48 Coupe is powered by twin Volvo 480hp with IPS pod drives.
