New Model: Marcopolo MP12

Marcopolo Yachts is the new explorer type sport cruiser brand of the Aschenez Group; known for it's Invictus and Capoforte brands. Marcopolo debuted with the MP12 at the start of 2026, which was followed in a couple weeks time by the smaller MP10, with both models debuting at the Dusseldorf boat show. The MP12 has a length of twelve metres offering generous spaces dedicated to outdoor living and entertaining. The layout enhances the usability of the deck, while the fold-down bulwarks further expand the aft area, creating a larger platform open to the sea. Propulsion is provided by three outboard engines from 350hp up to 450hp each, for a three-step hull developed through CFD analysis designed to combine hydrodynamic efficiency, stability and high performance. The technological approach also extends to construction, which combines advanced composite materials with solutions designed to optimise weight, strength and efficiency. Recycled PET elements and honeycomb polypropylene contribute to reducing weight while maintaining structural strength and efficiency. Meanwhile, carbon fibre, used in the uprights and hardtop of the MP12, further improves the strength-to-weight ratio. Below deck, the Marcopolo MP12 offers two cabins and four berths, with a forward owner’s cabin, an aft cabin with two single berths, and a bathroom with a separate shower.  An interesting element in the Marcopolo yachts, that most of the modular options, can be fitted following purchase.

Project: Pirelli 44

Following the launch of the Pirelli 47 in 2025, Sacs Marine, licensee of the Pirelli brand for inflatable boats and manufacturer of the Pirelli Speedboats line, has extended its range with the Pirelli 44. A modern design that meets all boat owner’s needs in a thirteen-metre open boat without compromise. Thanks to its high performance, precise lines, and distinctive personality, the Pirelli 44 has been conceived for those seeking performance, control, and a unique character. A key element of the Pirelli 44 is its sporty double-step hull designed by the Mannerfelt Design Team, renowned for creating championship-winning hulls in the most prestigious powerboat racing championships. A solution that stands out for its excellent seaworthiness, high speed performance, and high safety standards. The design is in continuity with the flagship Pirelli 47, reinterpreting its distinctive elements with proportions optimised for the new model. The decisive lines and sculpted forms evoke speed and dynamism, while maintaining a clean and pure stylistic language that reinterprets the concept of sportiness with a contemporary vision. From the hardtop, which blends seamlessly with the deckhouse to create a harmonious, clean, and balanced profile, all the way to the bow area, where the spacious sun bed and the stern-facing sofa create an open and inviting area, designed to ensure maximum comfort and facilitate life on board. At the stern is a face-to-face dinette that converts into a bed and extends all the way to the sun bed, creating a versatile and convivial space. All complemented by shading systems designed to further enhance comfort on board. Characterising the 44 model is also the large glass wind-shield with wind-shield wiper, a distinctive solution for a boat of this size, designed to ensure maximum comfort in the helm even during the most demanding voyages and in challenging weather conditions. The interiors are designed to provide maximum functionality without compromise. The layout includes a hospitable living area that can be converted into a sleeping area and a separate bathroom, ensuring comfort and convenience during the stay on board. The references to the Pirelli world are evident in every detail. On the tube strip there is a reproduction of the tread pattern of the Cinturato Blue Full Wet, a wet tyre used in the top car racing competition in which Pirelli is present as the sole supplier. An element highlighting the know-how developed by the company in motorsports and in designing tyres for extreme wet conditions. The seat cushions also reflect this identity, bearing the Pirelli logo. The first Pirelli 44 is powered by three Mercury 425hp outboard engines, with a twin-engine configuration twin 600hp also being available.

Tankoa New Web Site

Italian super yacht builder Tankoa presents its new web site.  Tankoa which means Scorpio in Genoese dialect was founded in 2007 by Giuseppe Orsi and his best friend, with the presidency of the company moving to Orsi sons, from Guido who was the President at founding to his sister Eva who took over Presidency since 2018.  Tankoa's main founder Giuseppe Orsi started his career as an engineer, becoming a businessman, and corporate executive taking over the helm of Finmeccanica in 2011.  But Orsi is also a passionate yacht owner, having entered yachting with the ownership of various super yachts, and from 1996 up to 2004 was also part-owner of Baglietto shipyard.  The construction of the first Tankoa hull number C101, a super yacht as designed by Francesco Paszkowski started life in 2008 as a 65 meter project, it was delayed for the Global Financial Crisis which hit the world economies at the end of that year.  Eventually Tankoa C101 will be updated to a 69 meter in 2013 and launched in June 2015.  Tankoa is located since its founding at Sestri Ponente in the center of Genoa's seven nautical miles break water protected harbour, next to Genoa's Christopher Columbus airport.  In December 2023 Tankoa took a lease agreement for the former Privilege super yacht yard in Civitavecchia which went bankrupt in 2015, increasing both production capacity and the possibility to build larger mega and giga yachts. Tankoa's aim has always been to be a boutique super yacht builder, with a business core in both custom and semi-custom builds, although the success seems more coming from the later, with ten of the yachts delivered coming from the semi-custom series yachts.  Tankoa has to date build fifteen super yachts from 45 up to 72 meters, with eleven yachts from 45 to 72 meters currently under construction.  Tankoa new website takes you around with the following buttons; Essence, Shipyard, Yachts, News, and Contacts.  Tankoa is also on social media with bottom right buttons taking you to its; Instagram, Facebook, and Linkedin pages.
