A nine meter traditional cruiser ended hard aground at Quaker Smith Point in Vermont, on the afternoon of Sunday thirty August. Red Cap Marine and Salvage who shared the story on its Facebook page tended to the accident, and removed the boat from the spot and towed it to a haul-out for repairs. The towing made by inflating lift bags and towing slowly was quite difficult as the boat ended quite in shallow water, and ended about half a foot above it's water line. The boat ended aground as an error of navigation, damaging its running gear in the process.
The boat in this accident is a Back Cove 30 as produced from 2010 to 2019. The 30 was a replacement to the 29, Back Cove's first model, and was replaced by the 32.
