New Model: Pardo GT75

For the fall 2024 boat show season Pardo debuted its new GT75 flagship model, as it World launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival in early September.  Designed by Nauta for exterior and interior, with naval architecture by Zuccheri the GT75 expands Pardo size by six meters from the previous E60 flagship.  The GT75 shows Pardo intent to go into larger sizes, and aims to continue the successful growth and expansion of the last seven years, as the Italian yacht maker aims to make a name into the twenty meter segment of the sporty side of the market, with three further models coming from 65 to 75 foot in the coming year or so.  For the GT75 Nauta continues Pardo successful design language, presenting a sport yacht that looks modern without trying hard.  It's an interesting recipe, which since the 43 debut in 2017 has worked well for Pardo, dominating the Euro-Walk-around eleven to fifteen meter sizes.  As in all things though being good looking alone is not enough to make a buyer part with his millions, so the Pardo GT75 comes also with a very flexible semi-custom build, with two aft deck options for an aft tender garage or beach club option, two galley up or not main deck layouts, and five; two to four cabins lower deck choices.  It's an impressive list of choices, and one which aims to cater for many type of owners.  As an example the Cannes presented hull one was a garage aft deck with a private and personal two cabins galley down and dinette layout.  The Pardo GT75 is standard powered by triple Volvo 800hp with IPS pod drives and or optional 1000hp engines, this last giving top speeds up to 35 knots.

Improve-it = Pardo 50

Pardo Yachts presents a 50 model entirely customized with Missoni fabrics, a project resulting from the collaboration of two pioneering brands of the Made in Italy: the historic Milanese maison founded by Ottavio Missoni in 1953 and Cantiere del Pardo, shipyard with artisanal and industrial roots dating back to 1973. Despite coming from very different industries, the two Brands share common values such as attention and commitment to luxury, aesthetics and unique creative design marked by a distinct overseas entrepreneurial spirit. The result? The elegant, clean lines of Pardo are broken by the movement of the iconic, colourful Missoni pattern creating a perfectly balanced combination. Two Italian synonyms of excellence with different styles but perfectly compatible and synergistic.  For the remaining the Pardo 50 is the same with four berths in two cabins below deck, with an option of a crew cabin, and is powered by twin Volvo 480hp as standard with options going up to 600hp with IPS forward looking pod drives propulsion.

Improve-it = Pardo GT52

Pardo present a GT52 with the galley-up version: placing the galley on the main deck provides a lounge area with TV or a third cabin with bunk beds on the lower deck level. Every corner was designed to provide living space typical of a luxury apartment. The GT52 inherits the best of Pardo Yachts innovation in terms of construction quality, technology applied to boating and the needs of owners who want to experience seas and oceans in total safety and autonomy.  The Pardo Yachts GT52 is confirmed as an absolute novelty, positioning itself between the Walkaround and Endurance ranges by addressing a segment of owners looking for even more liveable and comfortable volumes than the current Walkaround models, but without sacrificing performance. The GT52 in her galley-up layout proves Pardo Yachts attention to the organization of interior spaces, maintaining constant continuity with the exterior: a challenge aimed at affirming a habitability that transforms the perception of spaces, enhancing the time spent on board, especially during long cruises.

Designed by Nauta with naval architecture by Zuccheri this new GT65 project, preserves the iconicity and elegance that made Pardo Yachts a success from it's debut and beyond that of any forecast, while delivering an unparalleled onboard living experience. Positioned strategically between the GT52, presented in 2022, and the upcoming GT75 flagship set to launch this year, the GT65 serves as the latest addition to Pardo Yachts's versatile series of crossover runabouts. Pardo Yachts New Web Site

Celebrating half a century in pleasure boat and yacht building Pardo presents its new web site.  Cantieri del Pardo was founded in 1973 by Giuseppe Guiliani, in Forli concentrating in its beginnings for building quality racing sail yachts under the Grand Soleil brand.  This strategy proofs successful for Pardo, with its first model the Grand Soleil 34 designed by Finot becoming Mediterrean champion in 1974. This success is followed by the Grand Soleil 40 designed by Massimo Paperini who will win World and Europen IMS class C2 championship, and the 37 who wins the World, European, Italian, and Spanish titles twice in four years. In fifty years Cantieri dell Pardo has also characterized itself for the use of top designers; Alain Jezequel who will update all the line from 1983 till the end of that decade, German Frers who will do the same in the nineties, Bruce Farr designing the 1992 launched 64 Maxi One flagship, Doug Petterson, Jacep Jacopin, Massimo Paperini, Botin and Carkeek, Claudio Maletto, Marco Lostuzzi, and Matteo Polli.  Cantieri del Pardo will have a few ownership changes in 2006, 2008, and 2010 when it will sell to the Bavaria Group, with this selling again in 2012 to the family Trevisan.  In 2018 the two Pardo managers Fabio Planamente and Gigi Servidati will take a majority stake in Pardo, with Wise Equity taking a sixty percent share in December 2020.  In the fall of 2023 Calzedonia Group buys Cantieri Navali dell Pardo.  Pardo has also in 2020 bought motor boat builder VanDutch yachts.  Cantieri del Pardo entered motor boating production twice in its story.  The first was with the Hudson and Ricci brand from 1989 to 96, and the two 40 and 54 models designed by Wynn and Walters for hull and Fred Hudson for super structure. The second motor boating production entry came with the Pardo Yachts in 2017 debuting with the Zuccheri designed 43 model, which sold over one hundred units in its first year of production.  Currently Pardo Yachts offers eight models in three ranges, which start from the P38 of the walk around line, and go up to the GT75 which is still in project stages and set to debut in 2024. Project: Pardo 75

After the presentation of the GT75 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, Pardo present the project for a 75 with T-Top version which joins the hot selling Walkaround range.  This Cantiere del Pardo 75 concept features naval architecture by Zuccheri Yacht Design and exterior and interior design by Nauta Design. The Pardo Yachts Walkaround range welcomes its new flagship, the Pardo 75 T-Top, designed for owners who want to expand after appreciating the Pardo 50 and who want more space in the sleeping area and outdoors, while maintaining the specific characteristics of the Walkaround range. This line is well-known for its performance and its practical and comfortable layout; it includes yachts that are easily manoeuvrable and designed to navigate in total safety thanks to their configuration. Having all of the above does not mean cutting back on functionality and great attention to design with the Pardo 75 offering a three double cabins lower deck, with the choice to have a large saloon area and two cabins, or a galley down with two double cabins.  A crew cabin is located forward.  The Pardo 75 is powered by triple Volvo 800hp engines with IPS pod drives, with options that go up to 1000hp and the same propulsion set up.

Project: Pardo 72 Endurance

In the year of its fiftieth anniversary, Cantiere del Pardo is pleased to present the project of the 72 Endurance.  Second model in the Endurance range after the 60 launched in 2021, the 72 is also second in size for Pardo Yachts following the current in construction GT75 project presented in the fall of 2022. Project: Pardo GT75

Pardo present the project for the GT75, a new flagship of 22 meters in length.  Designed as all Pardo's by Zuccheri with Nauta taking care of interior, the GT75 expands Pardo size by fifteen feet from the current E60 flagship, and is the second GT model following the 52 launched in 2022.  The GT line introduced by Pardo in 2021 with the GT52 is an interesting mix of walk around features to those of a sport yacht.  In the GT75 choice is something one has to do after signing the dotted lines, with the most important one revolving around two stern layouts; for a classic sun-pad-tender-garage, or an open beach club as pictured above.  In both cases the opening side bulwarks are featured, but you do get three steps up from the the bathing platform in the tender-garage version.  Another difference in between the tender-garage and beach versions is the stern access to the master stateroom only featured on the later, with the former having a tad larger owners room.  In the Pardo GT 75 choice also exist in the interior with a galley up or down layout, and the possibility to have a two, three, or four cabins sleeping up to ten guests.  Currently the plans on the website are only showing the two cabins; master to midships and VIP forward version, but I do imagine the other cabins to replace the lower deck saloons to port and starboard.  The Pardo GT75 is to be standard powered by triple Volvo 701hp with options going up to 1000hp with IPS pod propulsion.
