Viking Sportfish Cruiser Partly Sinks in Wildwood, New Jersey

A not attended twelve meter Viking sportfish cruiser titled Alibi partly sank at Schooner Island Marina in Wildwood, New Jersey on Saturday fourteen February.  The sportfish was saved from fully sinking by Sea Tow Cape May who shared the story on its Facebook page.  Sea Tow Cape May pumped the water out first, and then towed the sportfish to haul out of the water at the marina's yacht yard.  The sportfish was reported sinking from a failed through hull fitting.
The sportfish in this part sinking is a Viking 40 Convertible as produced from 1972 to 1982 in four hundred units.  The 40 Convertible is the best sold Viking Yacht build to date and was replaced by the 41 Convertible.
