New Model: Austin Parker 48 Sundeck

Austin Parker and designer Fulvio de Simoni continue to evolve the traditional lobster boat inspired cruiser and yacht range which have received so much consensus since the launch of the 42 in 2009.  This latest model from Austin Parker the 48 Sundeck, called so for the sun-pad on top of the hardtop is the latest offer from the North Italian builder and presents itself as a traditional cruiser feeling bigger to what it actually is. In reality it is featuring an overall length of over fifty feet, and important less to five meters beam.  The Austin Parker impresses for its interior offering a three double cabins lower deck with a full beam owners stateroom, a Vip double berth cabin forward, and twin bunk berths cabin to port side.  The living is located on the main deck and features a C-shaped dinette, with a TV entertainment unit opposite.  A well sized galley is located below deck.  The aft deck is also interesting and offers a mezzanine style dinette located inside the area which can transform to a sunlounge.  Access to the sundeck on the fly is from a stairway which when not in use hides in the roof.  Power for the Austin Parker 48 Sundeck is from twin Cummins 550hp which give a top speed of 28 knots max and 24 knots cruise.
