After the launch of the 64 the past Summer, Wally continues to upgrade its Power range with projects for a 125, and a 55 designed to stand between the 64 and 47. Wally Power range has so far launched 6 models in the range including the deceased 70 replaced in 2007 by the 73, and has 8 other model in project stages including the WallyIsland 99 metre Super Yacht. The 125 Power, look similar outside to the 118 first model of this successful range, but offers much then sees the eye differences with a more comfortable 4 cabin interior, a sport bridge above the hardtop, and a more economic performance. Power is from twin MTU 16v4000 M93L 4615hp which will give a 42 knots max, 35 knots cruising, and an economic cruise of 30 knots giving a range of 600 nautical miles.
The new WallyPower 55 completes the power range filling the gap between the 47 and the recently launched 64. The 55 model introduces the full-open concept: the boat is super sporty and aggressive featuring a huge windscreen that replaces the hard top, and surrounds the entire cockpit area. The innovative propulsion system is made of four engines Volvo D6 of 435hp each, coupled with the IPS600 to offer great manoeuvrability, and 30% increased performance together with 20% increased range. The predicted max speed is over 40 knots. The cockpit features two comfortable and symmetrical seating and relaxing areas, one on each side, completely sheltered by the windscreen, which if desired can can be covered by a bimini or by a hard top as an optional, sheltering the open areas from the sun. The vast aft “beach” of approx 10 squared metres offers a Terrace-on-the-sea feeling. Another innovation is the immense hydraulic retractable aft passerelle, that serves as boarding platform and swimming ladder depending on the position, like the one of the 118. This also serves also to handle and lift onboard a jet ski from the water. The interior layout features a salon, two or three cabins with en-suites depending the choice, a galley, and a crew cabin with en-suite. The WallyPower 55 is built in the new yard specialised in the production, located in Forlì, Italy and the first unit will be launched in the summer of this year.
