New Launch: Lurssen 114m Hull.13759

On nine August 2025, Lürssen launched hull number 13759 titled m/y Cosmos, a masterpiece that breaks away from conventional yachting norms. Measuring just over 114 metres in length, this latest Lurssen is one of the largest yachts to slip into the water this year. With her ambitious and unique architectural and interior design by Marc Newson, she is poised to become an instant icon. Commissioned by a visionary Japanese owner Lurssen 13759 comes from a desire for something truly special and unique with which to discover the world. The cohesive, strikingly elegant and futuristic exterior and interior are both by Marc Newson, who executed the brief with his signature refinement. His approach brought a fresh, daring perspective to yacht design, resulting in a sleek, sculptural vessel unlike anything before her. One of the most striking and immediately recognisable features of Cosmos is the large, glass-domed private owner’s study, complete with a sky terrace. The study itself was a complex feat of glass engineering. Lürssen developed a custom solution to bend large sections of thick glass, free of imperfections and with crystal clarity, creating undisturbed 360-degree panoramic vistas from this commanding perch atop the vessel. The adjoining sky terrace offers the owner a personal al fresco space directly connected to the study. The glass theme is just as prominent on the cabin deck, where a continuous glass band surrounds the entire upper level for uninterrupted views. Located forward in the bow, beneath the helipad, is a glass-encased observation lounge, while aft lies an open balcony with a glass balustrade, which overlooks the spacious main deck. The open aft deck seamlessly blends utility with comfort. Its centrepiece is a swimming pool and Jacuzzi arrangement, flanked by comfortable seating, and aft lies a dry dock, which operates with a sledge to launch and retrieve her largest supporting tender. Engineered for long-range, remote cruising, Lurssen 13759 spans six decks and is reinforced to Ice Class 1D, enabling safe operation in light ice conditions. Her capabilities open up the possibility of exploring all five major oceans and all seven continents. As part of the owner's commitment to innovation, they have agreed to a research installation of a methanol fuel cell. This system utilises methanol to produce hydrogen, which is then converted into electricity. A technologically challenging and complex procedure.

New Launch: Lurssen 82m Hull.13775

Lürssen is proud to announce the successful delivery of Hull.13775 titled as m/y Haven, known during construction as Project Cali.  This custom 82 meter super yacht departed Lurssen's ship yard on seventeen June 2024 to embark on her maiden voyage. The concept and exterior design of Haven were developed in-house at Lürssen by Jim Robert Sluijter. Haven features a low profile with long, elegant, feminine lines that sweep from bow to stern, lending her a touch of majestic athleticism. Key to her design are sinuous concave patterns that run across her superstructure, reflecting the movement of waves when the sun is in the right position. Her sleek exterior is balanced by a contemporary interior, created by the British studio RWD. The choice of materials is natural and pure, while the design itself features asymmetrical shapes and a dynamic layout. Haven has a length overall of 82 metres and a beam of 12.5 metres, placing her among the world’s largest tri-deck superyachts afloat today. She was built for an experienced Owner with an active lifestyle and a clear vision for their vessel: generous outdoor space, a family-oriented layout, and storage for water toys and diving gear. Highlights include a 300-square-metre sun deck with a 2.5-metre ceiling height and moveable windbreak panels, and a generous beach club with single-step sea terraces and a seamless connection to the sea. Project: Lurssen 139m Project Redwood

Nuvolari-Lenard is releasing new design information about Project Redwood, a 139 meter super yacht, for which the Venice-based yacht design studio is working on the vessel’s concept, exterior and interior design.  Project Redwood will be Passenger Yacht Code compliant and is being built with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure.  Nuvolari-Lenard confirms that the super yacht will have the capability for landing two helicopters on the decks. It will carry a fleet of tenders for a range of purposes, including a number of very large tenders of 15 meters.  For activity enthusiasts, there will be a sports and diving center located on the lower decks, as well as a large swimming pool, partially protected from the elements. Once delivered, Project Redwood will have efficient, long-range cruising capabilities for independent global exploration.  The super yacht is currently under construction at Lürssen’s facilities in Bremen, and the design studio is collaborating with the same owner’s representatives and build team which it worked on 88-metre m.y Quatroelle, delivered in 2013.  Project Redwood is expected to be delivered to its owner in 2019.
