New Model: Azimut 55 Flybridge

Azimut set up an important stage at the end of January 2018 held Dusseldorf boat show presenting not one but two World premiers.  The Azimut 55 Flybridge is one of the important new premiers for the Italian builder replacing the 53/54 and also inspired thanks in model name to the success that was the 2000 till 2009 produced best selling 55 which sold around five hundred units in that time period.  For those that follow Azimut, this new 55 Flybridge is an entirely new model and here the Italian builder and its designers Stefano Righini for the exterior, and Achille Salvagni for interior, take a conservative route as the sun-pad in the fore deck and no forward bench settee.  For the first time in the 55 Flybridge we also see Azimut with the galley located astern of the main deck.  As story go the astern galley was introduced by Ferretti in 2005 on the 630, and then followed in all its sub twenty meters models.  As is usual the Azimut 55 Flybridge shines in its lower deck layout with three spacious cabins serving guests including a full beam midships located owners stateroom.  A single berth crew cabin is located aft.  The Azimut 55 Flybridge is powered by twin Man 800hp reaching top speeds of 31 knots and a cruise of 27 knots.
