New Launch: Benetti 48m FB601

Benetti launched from Livorno MY “Hawa” construction number FB601, a 48-meter full custom super yacht designed in collaboration with the famous English studio RWD, who penned the exterior and interior design. Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, FB601 stands out for her original layout, the incredible brightness of the rooms and the refined interiors, furnished with matte painted eucalyptus woods and refined dark walnut details. Characterized by elegant external lines, FB601 stands out for the elegant “desert sand” hull color, chosen by the experienced Benetti loyal owner, and the original layout which prioritizes continuous contact with the environment. The use of refined furnishing elements and materials is striking, in particular the matte painted eucalyptus with dark walnut details and inlays of various leathers and marbles. The Main Deck enjoys incredible brightness, thanks to a lounge with five openings to the outside that allow continuous views of the sea. On the same deck, toward the bow, instead of the traditional galley, the owner asked to have a pantry and a large VIP cabin with shower with sauna that precedes the large master cabin, full beam and with drop down side windows. Here the space was designed with a private study for the owner, bed, two wardrobes on the port side and a lounge area with bathroom to the starboard. The Lower Deck houses three double cabins for guests, as well as the galley, equipped with a dumbwaiter that allows the crew to serve all decks, including the Sun Deck. The beach area has two side openings that deploy into platforms, overlooking the sea and adding to the considerable beach area. The interiors of the beach club are designed to maximize the enjoyment of relaxing moments, featuring a comfortable L-shaped sofa, a bathroom with shower and sauna, and an area dedicated to equipment for fishing and diving, two great passions of the owner. The aft part of the Upper Deck is designed for convivial moments in the open air, with areas for relaxation, conversation and sunbathing. Inside the bright sky lounge with two large opening side windows, there is a pantry, a complete gym, also with opening side windows, and the wheelhouse with full-height windows covering 180°. For the classic wheelhouse, the owner preferred a futuristic “light bridge console” developed by Benetti. The advanced level of software integration, derived from military technology, and the choice to have ceiling screens and an ergonomic Besenzoni commander’s chair, made it possible to have all the controls in two small “peninsulas”, oriented like extended armrests of the “Captain Chair”. Racks and navigational devices are housed within two compartments located by the entrance to the area. The Sun Deck is designed to make the most of every time of day. The stern and bow spaces are separated by a windproof structure with sliding doors that increases the feeling of privacy for the owner and guests. The stern area features a dining table for 12 people. The large sofa that frames a cinema area is accessible from the external staircase, while the bow area is equipped with bar counter, table for four and forward-facing sundeck sofa. The space can be accessed by the crew from a separate staircase. The hull, designed by the P.L.A.N.A. studio in collaboration with the Azimut Benetti Research and Development department, ensures high performance and excellent seaworthiness for safe and comfortable navigation. The engine room houses a pair of MTUs of 1,700hp each, which guarantee the yacht a maximum speed of fifteen knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at the ten knot cruising speed.

New Launch: Bayliss 72 B25

Bayliss has delivered hull B25, a 72 feet custom sportfish yacht titled Old Reliable. Old Reliable is a name long associated with the Bayliss Boatworks family. In 2003, offshore fly fishing legend Nick Smith, set out to build 64 B5 Old Reliable. Smith, with an already impressive fishing history, set new records and achieved great milestones with Hull 5. In 2019 he set the world record for the largest number of striped marlin caught and released on fly in a single day, and holds multiple other single day records as well. Over the years, Bayliss Boatworks was active in supporting Old Reliable with maintenance and up-fittings, whether state-side or abroad. So, in 2019 Bayliss Boatworks was commissioned to build Hull 25, the new 72 Old Reliable. Upon comparison, you will see many similarities between Hull 5 and 25, as Smith became adapted to many qualities on the original boat. With fourteen years between the builds, there was also great opportunity for modernization and improvement. The same excellence and attention to detail that are engrained in Smith’s fishing practice were utilized when it came time to develop the plans for Hull 25. The hull and topside are coated in Imron Cloud White with a black and gold boot stripe to match her black and gold transom artwork done by Everett Nautical. Hand selected natural teak-boards make up her interior cockpit and coverboards. The toe rail, helm pod and salon door are all faux teak courtesy of Izzy Teak. Her cockpit features a custom rigging station with live-well and rocket launcher. Mechanically, Old Reliable is powered with two CAT 1,925hp which make her reach a registered top speed of 39.5 knots fully loaded. She is equipped with a Seakeeper 18 aftm and a Seakeeper 9 forward for stability, two 25kw Northern Lights generators, and two FCI 1850 gallon per day water makers. Custom Marine Electronics has installed the latest in marine electronics, including a Furuno Omni Sonar. The interior of Bayliss B25 is designed to be accommodating and efficient with plenty of storage for extended offshore trips. The salon is comprised of one large custom L-shaped sofa on the port side and a bar area starboard side complete with a sink, a Hoshizaki cubelet icemaker, and custom actuated liquor storage. The galley features a Wolf 2 burner cooktop, a Viking microwave, two Subzero refrigerator units, one Subzero freezer unit, three Release Marine teak barstools, Nilo River granite countertops and natural cork flooring. The lower level optimizes both guest space and storage. To port is the master stateroom with adjoining master head and to starboard are two crew staterooms with a shared head. In the companionway there is rod and tackle storage and a stacked washer and dryer. At the end of the companionway forward, there is another master stateroom with adjoining head. Both starboard crew staterooms have stacked bunks with teak bases with entrances to the shared crew head. The captain’s stateroom features a TV with separate marine electronic screens. In the master, teak cabinets line the stateroom with two full height hanging lockers and extra storage found beneath the bunk.

New Launch: Feadship 54.90m Hull. 708

A striking mast and the yacht’s very own submarine: these were just two of the specific requests by an owner who has enormous experience of discovering the world by sea. Like every genuinely custom superyacht, the design for m/y Shinkai, Feadship's hull number 708  revolved around these specific choices of the client. In this case the key was how best to incorporate a 7.2-tonne submarine on the aft deck along with the giant crane required for launching and collection. New Launch: Cantiere delle Marche 43m Custom

Cantiere Delle Marche is delighted to announce that the full custom 43-metre explorer yacht, named m/y Acala has been successfully launched. A pure custom yacht this 43m shows CDM experience and its approach to explorer yacht building. 43m Custom has been commissioned by an experienced yachtsman who, over the years, owned yachts built by shipyards such as Feadship, Lürssen, Blohm and Voss. He is a repeat client for CDM, a yard which gained his full confidence having enjoyed the feel of comfort and safety of his previous Cantiere delle Marche Darwin 102, cruising in the Med but also sailing the expanses of the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic and reaching the wild beauty of remote destinations and the best diving spots in the world. Cantiere delle Marche 43m Custom also inaugurates a new collaboration with Horacio Bozzo Design who designed her conspicuous and eye- catching lines. Her severe profile with a raked bow and compact superstructure captures the very soul of an explorer vessel combining it with the elegance of a luxury yacht that will stand the test of time. Large windows on the main deck whose mullions seem not to join the superstructure are undoubtedly a profile’s signature features. All shapes, volumes and lines compose a harmonious geometry while her roomy body encompasses luxury social areas and very large and comfortable crew quarters, as requested by the owner whose plans include long term cruising to reach the farthest corners of the world. Guest areas are spread over three decks plus a sun deck. Cantiere delle Marche 43m features a nicely organized interior layout that sleeps twelve guests in six suites. A large lobby sits in between the main salon and guest night quarters. The full beam main deck, from amidships forward is dedicated to guests and owners. Three large Vip and extremely comfortable owner suite to starboard side are flooded by natural light from large windows. Two twin cabins are located on the lower deck. An intimate salon on the main deck and a large panoramic sky lounge on the upper deck with dining area have been designed and decorated for indoor relaxation and entertainment. A particularly large cockpit features dining and lounging areas, a swimming pool and lots of space to relax. A large and partially shaded sun deck perfectly integrated into the profile provides the social hub for the guests with an al fresco dining, bar, vast sunbathing area alongside a second swimming pool. A dumbwaiter connects the galley located on the lower deck to all deck, sun deck included, to convey food and drinks and ease the work of crew. Cantiere delle Marche 43m Custom interior design by Mexican architect Simon Hamui is luxurious and relaxed at the same time. It means that it offers the possibility to feel at ease with both beach clothing or formally dressed for a dinner. 43m Custom has a full displacement naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo Hydro Tec offering large volumes in a 440GT and the smoothest of travel even in rough seas ensuring excellent comfort and total safety. Engineering has been developed by the yard technical department in collaboration with Hydro Tec. Needless to add that she, like all explorer yachts built by Cantiere delle Marche, features a thick and robust steel hull and light aluminium superstructure. With a total length of 43 metres and thanks to a hull geometry her twin Caterpillar 1014hp engines will give a range of above five thousand nautical at ten knots and a top speed of forteen knots. The yacht’s engine room,, as all engine rooms built by CDM, is a showpiece that stands out for its cleanliness and functionality with all the yacht’s systems and machineries set up to accommodate easy maintenance. CDM is a pure breed explorer therefore she needs a high level of independence. The engine room is one of the sources of that independence as its redundant equipment allow to sail far and wide and to reach remote areas of the globe where it is impossible to access any sort of assistance. An expansive lazarette provides a very large storage area needed for many cruising necessities, water toys, diving equipment, etc. The main tender is stored on the upper deck forward. Crew quarters and service areas are functional and well-appointed, as requested by the owner. New Launch: Heesen 60 meter YN 19360

Heesen is delighted to announce the delivery of MY Lusine, YN 19360, previously known as Project Falcon. During intensive tests in the North Sea, she reached the contractual speed of seventeen knots with acoustic and vibration performance within the required limits. Powered by two MTU 2200hp diesel engines and equipped with full tropical air-conditioning, she has a range of 4,200 nautical miles at thirteen knots. Her exterior lines designed by Omega Architects, who have introduced an eye-catching ‘bird’s wing’ motif as a visual enhancement to integrate the main deck, bridge and sundeck without interrupting the horizontal sweep of the windows.  YN 19360 is now on her way to welcome her owners on board.  At 60 metres in length with an enclosed volume of approximately 1,060 GT, this yacht presented several challenges for which Heesen engineers and craftsmen developed smart solutions to accommodate the Owners’ and their team’s requests. To name a few: she is the first in the world to sport the SCR system alongside the V12s MTU engines, the storage of the Boston Whaler tender in the aft garage with the launching ramp.  YN 19360 layout is tailored around the owners and their family lifestyle. Twelve guests are accommodated in six staterooms, with the owners’ apartment on the bridge deck aft. The touch-and-go helipad for private use, served by an enclosed air-conditioned reception area, guarantees discreet boarding. Top-notch service is at the core of the layout: separate routing throughout the yacht ensures that the crew can perform their duties seamlessly without disturbing the guests’ relaxation.  Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design created a calm and elegant interior decor that exudes sophistication in its intricate design and unique combination of materials. Lusine is one of the most complex interiors ever crafted by the artisans of Heesen Yachts Interiors, who enjoyed the challenge of working with rare woods, precious fabrics and exquisite leathers.  Lusine is the first yacht delivered by Heesen in 2022. New Launch: F&S 61 Hardtop Express Hull #30

FandS present the 61 hardtop express, hull number 30 and called Soul Candy by its owner.  FandS hull thirty was designed as a family-friendly express sportfish yacht with space for entertaining, with a host of custom options that allow the owner-operator to communicate and interact with the crew on fishing trips to the Gulf of Mexico and the Bahamas. One of the primary challenges with FandS hull #30 was to add a tall owner, and superior interior headroom. Keeping the sweeping lines FandS is known for, while accommodating someone of height, would require some out-of-the-gate thinking. The design team created a two meters plus character named Fred within the CAD program, who would be moved around the virtual boat to be sure proper clearance of areas such as the companionway, staterooms and showers. Cad-Fred was also integral to helm line-of-sight, both while running and to the angler in the fighting chair, and because the interior space is directly connected to all the exterior dimensions, it was necessary to consider every detail. FandS 61 Hardtop Express features an eleven squared meters cockpit deck which easily fits the large fighting chair with an offset pedestal and on-deck tuna tubes, essential when you plan on fighting some of the monsters living near the rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. The classic straight lines of the teak cockpit boards tame the curvy, signature FandS radial mezzanine and transom live-well. A giant lazarette is accessible by way of a Freeman Marine deck hatch located under the chair’s footrest and ensures safe, dry storage below for the multitude of systems located there. The bright interior of the helm deck is striking. The hardtop express design allows for a view of the world around her, and FandS takes the view to new levels by incorporating one giant piece of custom curved glass on each side. By doing so, there is little to break that uninterrupted sightline, providing a true, 360-degree perspective. FandS 61 Hardtop Express runs smooth and quiet at all speeds, thanks to the twin MTU 1600hp engines giving a solid cruising speed of 35 knots and a top end of 42 knots.

New Launch: Admiral 55.2 m S-Force

Admiral has launched M/Y Geco a 55.2 meter part of the S-Force line from the super yacht builder designed by in-house architect Gian Marco Campanino.  The external areas of the S-Force 55 meter present a perfect harmony characterized by the presence of important sculptural elements such as the bar counter, the sunbathing areas and the stainless steel stairs that connect the different decks.  The upper deck, of extraordinary beauty and functionality, sees the external-internal areas connected by a sliding glass door which eliminates the separation between the upper hall, the external hall and the dining area; the bar area is also designed without interruption between internal and external environments and the continuous dialogue between the spaces is represented by a long counter dedicated to wine tasting and cocktail service.  Another peculiarity of the S-Force 55 meter is the heliport positioned in the front of the yacht which delicately overlooks the shape of the hull and presents a lounge area for unforgettable evenings in the open air. The sun deck features a Jacuzzi tub and an equipped gym area.  The refined and striking interiors reveal a "super glamorous" atmosphere that sees a timeless French allure mixed with more contemporary Italian design. French wooden boiserie, precious Italian marbles, bronzed metal details and leather walls create a decidedly sophisticated environment with an international flavour. The materials, from wengé wood, natural oak and golden Calacatta marble, give a unique feeling of elegance, in perfect balance between exclusive luxury and craftsmanship. The colors were carefully selected, the main elements are neutral nuances interrupted by bronzed metal details and bold tones such as navy blue and cognac orange. In the circular design dining room, a splendid and huge chandelier stands out, a work of art designed to embellish and envelop the environment with an exceptional wavy effect thanks to hundreds of rods of coloured crystals.

New Launch: Feadship 94.00m Hull. 817

Feadship hull. 817 set the target of keeping the environmental impact for a ground-breaking eco-friendly 94-metre pure custom super yacht.  One of the ways in which this highly ambitious goal was approached, has been to install an exceptionally advanced hybrid propulsion system. They also obviously play a key role in the open beach-house-style interior by Peter Marino Architects. The owner who came from a previous 62 meters smaller Feadship has put a less is more philosophy in this new construction, influencing every aspect of the design inside and out, with an abundance of clean lines.  Titled M/Y Viva, hull 817 was put pen to paper in 2015, and features a special pearl-white livery, the hull has been designed, engineered and built to be as efficient as possible and reduce the engine power required to move through the water.
