Kadey-Krogen present the new 60 Open, the second Open series model following the 50 Open for a project which was presented two years ago in 2023. The folks at Kadey-Krogen are always thinking, designing, and perfecting everything they do, since there journey began in 1976. The new Kadey-Krogen 60 Open is a blue water, all-oceans yacht that redefines today’s passage making yacht, thanks to its asymmetric design with a full body area to port side and a side passage to starboard. Beyond performance, efficiency and reliability, the interior volume of the 60 Open really sets her apart, reflecting each owners personal preferences with an interior offering a three double cabins accommodation plan, with a full beam midships located owners stateroom, a VIP suite forward, and a third guest cabin to port side, with a third shower head serving guests. A single berth crew cabin is also located at midships. Living, dining, and lounging area is all located on the main deck, with a welcome saloon on entrance, a galley, and an L-shaped dinette to forward behind the cabin helm station. A day head is also located on the main deck, probably the smallest yacht I know to have a day head on the main deck. The 60 Open like all Kadey-Krogen also benefits from a fully integrated, in-house design and support team. The Krogen 60 Open reflects the creativity and expertise of interior designer Katie Astras, so if a customer want to change some details of the interior they can do it. The 60 Open is powered by twin 200hp John Deere diesels are standard, with protected propellers and skegs and an island-friendly draft that will open-up adventures.
