An eleven meter flybridge cruiser was saved from sinking in Lower Chesapeake, Maryland for a story shared on Sea Tow Lower Chesapeake Facebook page on Sunday thirtieth March. Sea Tow assisted the motor cruiser, and with intervention located the water intrusion, stopped it, and then towed the boat to a marina. After arriving at the marina the flybridge cruiser was hauled out and dry docked. The water was later reported coming in from the starboard shaft line, with no injuries reported from the accident.
The flybridge cruiser in this accident is a Silverton 40 Convertible as produced from 1985 to 1990. The 40 Convertible was replaced by the Silverton 41 Convertible.
