Launched in the final part of Summer 2015 the new Fairline 53 Targa GT is a boat filled with expectations and weight, before and and after its official presentation in Southampton. Based on the 50 Targa GT, the 53 is the boat to take Fairline out of its recent decline, and become a prime model in its size. It will be interesting to see if we can say it did so in a couple of years. The 50 Targa was filled with the same hope, and saw Fairline opting at the time for an owners forward room against the more desired full beam midships layout. The 53 goes back to recent basics and its interior layout will feature the full beam midships owners cabins. The 53 also features a couple of interesting options from a galley up astern or down choice, to a day head option below. Power for the 53 Targa GT will come from twin Volvo 675hp and 725hp units with line shaft propulsion.
