Project: Otam SD35

Otam has sold the first of its new aluminium semi-displacement super yacht, the SD 35 meter. The new product line has been designed by Tommaso Spadolini and hull number one will go to an experienced Italian client. The 35 meter tri-deck super yacht has a beam short of eight meters, with zero speed stabilizers and a displacement of 295 gross tonnage, meaning draft fully loaded will be just 2.20 meters, opening up cruising areas worldwide. She will be able to host ten guests in five cabins, with the owner’s private apartment on the upper deck. The crew of six will be accommodated in four cabins. The Sestri Ponente-based yard has leveraged the experience gained through its Millennium line and the design expertise of its historical partner, naval architect Umberto Tagliavini. The semi-displacement hull will have a top speed of 22 knots, coming from twin Cat engines. Aluminium fabrication is already underway at the shipyard and delivery is scheduled for June 2016.
